We've been looking for a cat Water Bowl that our very particular calico Norwegian Forest cat use. She just was not getting enough water since she would only during from a filled bathroom sink otmr from a very difficult to clean porcelain cat fountain. Now Lily (the kitty) can drink fresh water to her hearts content thanks to this wonderful bowl! I love these bowls so much. They are extremely versatile. While these aren't cereal bowls, they work for anything from snack platters, to salads/burrito bowls, to holding steak and asparagus, pastas & crescent rolls, or chicken teriyaki! These would also make fabulous serving bowls as well because of how wide they are, they could be piled high with food. I only have a set of 2 of these bowls so far but will certainly be ordering more since we use them daily. Update! Just ordered another set since we use them SO much. They still look brand new, you can't tell the new ones apart from the older ones. Love this brand so much. 2022 Update I love these bowls so much we use them everyday. They are pricy but well worth the price. Because of this I have tried to slowly order more over time. My original order was from 2020, and my most recent order in 2022. I was very excited to add more of these bowls but unfortunately the bowls are different from the originals I ordered. They are different heights and widths. (See photos) Although the new design to make slightly taller and thicker bowls is a good improvement unfortunately they do not match the original set I purchased from this same seller so for that reason I will be returning my newest order and I am stuck with my set of only 4 of the older design bowls. These substantial beauties are exactly what I was looking for. My husband broke my favorite all-purpose bowl, just about this size but rectangular, that I used for everything from marinating to mixing to microwaving to serving to eating from (salads, pasta, even multiple component dinners of meat and veggies). He let me search for it for two days as I muttered about how a bowl that size couldn't possibly get misplaced--not in a small apartment kitchen, at any rate. At the end of my second frustrating, fruitless ransacking of shelves he finally admitted that he'd dropped it and thrown out the incriminating pieces. Okay, he's a little afraid of me. But, my gosh, he should be, because he breaks a lot of stuff. To his credit, he does actually wash dishes; I could name and shame a few husbands who don't. But now he's also taking credit for having broken the bowl because otherwise I never would have researched and turned up these simply wonderful replacements. Plus, since they came as a set of two, he has one of his own till he smashes it. As others have mentioned, they're an ideal substitute for dinner plates--same size but better at containing sauces. We eat in bed a lot while watching TV. And now, for sure, I've given you way TMI when all I needed to say was that these bowls are the best. P.S. I continued to cherish these bowls for the two-and-a-half years I had them, vigilantly protecting them from my spatially challenged husband's precarious placements. But tonight I let down my guard and he broke them. Not one, both. I could tell from the kitchen crash followed by his cursing that this was going to be a biggie. Don't have to think twice about reordering them, this time on his card. ... show more
