I, recently, had to clean out the fuel tank on my BX series Kubota tractor. While we try to keep our fuel clean and water out, things happen --- and, sure enough, some excess material got in. This fine-screen, stainless-steel, filter should preclude any more corruption from dirt and other materials which can clog up the outlet of the fuel tank (which is what happened with mine --- the down-stream fuel filters didn't allow any of the problems to get to the engine or fuel pump. This item fits perfectly. The Cap screws and seals like it should. I am sure the filling speed would be slower but I have not encountered that. If you are one that likes to lift those 5 gallon containers there is a good possibility pushing some debris or peal off a little plastic from the container nozzle into the tank. The screen will do its job and not let this happen. ... show more

I had a problem with the Kubota cutting out. I of course tried everything to fix it , new fuel filters , new fuel and bleeding. I found the problem, plastic pieces from two fuel cans I have were in the tank blocking the outlet. I ordered this screen so I will never have this problem again. It fit good but does stick on the cap when you open it. I can live with that for piece of mind that no debris gets in the tank. ... show more

Fits and works to filter out debris. The rubber ring/gasket might fit some other application but was in danger of falling into my BX25 tank.
