I use this web cam on my podcast so people can get a bench down view on what ever I'm working on. So far it's been really good, and integrated to OBS with no problems or any real effort.

I'd expect more from Asus. All my computer and gaming equipment comes from ASUS and yet, I can't figure out a way to adjust this camera. It doesn't seem to want to adapt to my green or blue screen, I can't zoom or focus it in and the microphone don't seem to work... The pamphlet of mixed language that don't give specifics to how to set up the camera, also warrants the 4 star rating. I should be rating 2 stars, but I'm an ASUS Chimp! ... show more

    • Four stars because there was no customer support when I had a stupid question
I have not fully tested this webcam yet. So why this review? Well, it is kind of stupid, but I have never had a webcam, and I did not how know how it was mounted on a computer monitor. I thought there might be adhesive tape, clamps or something. I have only had cameras built into a laptop or chromebook. Instead, the webcam just kinds of gently clamps on the computer monitor itself. Eventually, I figured this out myself. D'uh, I guess. Mock me if you want, but most of us do stupid things sometime. But did Asus respond when I contacted them with this problem? No. No response at all. I think simply that Asus provides zero support for the webcam they sell. For that reason, I give it three stars. For a device like this, you should be told in advance that there is zero technical support after you have purchased the device. Either it works, or you just return within 30 days of purchase. On the other hand, maybe a seller as big as Asus should actually answer requests. I think they should. ... show more

Love this camera. My colleagues at work all admire the quality of my picture. I'm way clearer than everyone else after getting this. It really is an amazingly clear picture! I would highly recommend. It does have a pretty wide view, so if you're trying to limit background visibility this may not be for you. I wouldn't call it a negative feature, but in some cases it may be. ... show more

    • Didn't work straight out of the box
Supposed to be plug and play. Plugged it in to both my computers. Neither sensed the camera nor did the "on" light on the camera ever come on. Should've just went up to Best Buy and bought one. Now I have to go through the pain in the @ss process of returning it.
