  • Good rack, I like it.
Strong enough to carry my mountain bike and a cargo box to free up space in the interior of the Jeep. I also plan to install my roof top tent which should be a hoot for hanging out at the beach and parks. It definitely made my Jeep a whole more versatile.

  • workmanship
The coating, it was uneven and thin bolt holes did not lineup.

  • Trash
Unless your Specifically looks to store Chinese garbage on your jeep literally buy any other rack. Bought this against better judgement after reading reviews, thinking I could use it a couple times to see if I like having my rtt on the TJ…. DO NOT waste your time or money. They have to be laughing at us Americans buying this garbage. Fitment is garbage. Hardware non existent in my box being one end was open. Powder coat? Trash “powder coated over paint” if you don’t know that doesn’t work. Hole alignment you ask nope didn’t hit that mark either… honestly stop looking at this product you will only end up frustrated. I knew it was a cheap knock off product but it’s not even worthy of calling it a knock off. Negative six stars. Please don’t buy this I beg you. ... show more

  • Nice Rack TJ Sport 2004
I found this rack pretty easy to install if you just take your time. Impact T40 for the screws. You might need to heat the screws with a torch, I did and they unscrewed easily. Do not tighten door or bumper screws/bolts till all bars are in place. Looks great.

  • Know what your getting into
Installation SUCKS, there is nothing easy about putting this on, your going to need brand new impact rated bits just to get the hinges off, and after that I hope you've got PLENTY of time because this took me an entire day to put on. The instructions were the worst I've ever seen on a aftermarket product, and its better to just figure it out yourself. On the rear, it mounts to the same back angled plate as the bumper, so you better have some new bolts or it won't make it, I have an after market bumper on, and it was incredibly difficult to get the correct angle for the two wrenches, so if you have the sock bumper it should be easy, but anything else, and good luck. ALOT of holes don't line up correctly, so some drilling may be required, didn't bother me but its something to note. Don't plan on just unscrewing the bolts that connect the across rails to fold your soft top down either, that's not happening. Unless you want to spend 30 minutes taking all the cross sections off. *NOWHERE does it have any properly sized bolts on almost ANYTHING. Over all, I'm young and don't mind wasting time with my buddies redneck engineering the thing together, but if your looking for a plug and play roof rack, this isn't it. Overall, I'm really happy with how it turned out, from the factory, it wasn't machined properly, but with a little DIY it will work. Just know what your getting into before you buy it. ... show more

  • It's finally installed
Oh how do I start, this item came in a super ripped up package with pieces sticking out, came with almost everything, missing 1 roof rack bar, but the main bars came with rust. The mounting holes were soo small I had to Dremel out the wholes to make it fit. The instructions were the worst instructions I've ever seen, did not help one bit. Everything is super tight putting together. Yes it is cheap and I eventually made it fit after all the metal cutting and drilling. I can't say I would buy this again, spend the money and get a more expensive one, its worth it. ... show more

Easy to install--did it solo and no rushing. Very sturdy after all assembled and tightened. Would recommend to anyone for product cost, quality and value.

  • NT A SOLO PROJECT ALL DAY DONT DOORS. Longest instal to date on jeep
ALL DAY PROJECT DONT TAKE OFF DOORS. Buy extra T40 Drive get impact driver or make sure they’re good I broke two trying to get the front mounts out. Ended up just drilling through it. I have a 2000 stock TJ the rear mounts you cannot get a socket into the top bolt. I had to cut one bracket off the bumper and part of the bumper itself for the bracket to even fit in then I had to drill out the hole bore it because the holes are not spaced properly. The crossbars don’t have correct machine holes had to drill my own. 8 hrs! Know what you’re bout gonna do this by yourself. Extra bolts then not enough at the end. Have something to cut metal if your frame and bumpers. But I got to say at the end it looks really good but man it in me work for it ... show more
