The weight max on this recumbent is 350 lbs. It's built for a large person. I can tell it's supportive, it's easy to adjust, was easy to assemble, and can give you a light or difficult workout just by adjusting the tension. It works great for a person with some difficulty using a regular stationary bike. I have fused ankle, this is a perfect workout for me. I am very happy with this bike.     • Good value, with one little annoyance
This bike is a really good value for someone who wants to get some cardio at home without the huge financial commitment of something like a peloton. I found the assembly to be pretty easy, on par with assembling Ikea furniture. The text in the directions is poorly translated, but the images are good enough. The tools that come with it aren't the best, but they'll work for someone who has no tools of their own. The one tricky part is connecting the tension cable, make sure the knob is set to the lowest setting and get someone to help. It took me less than an hour to build at a leisurely pace. The bike is pretty well built. It's solid, doesn't flex even when riding it hard as a 190 lb guy. I wasn't used to riding a sit down bike, so the seat felt a little hard at first, but I got used to it. I saw several reviews that said the lowest tension setting is too difficult. I didn't have this experience. Starting a new kind of exercise is always going to be tough, but almost everyone should be able to get started on this bike. The one flaw with the bike is that the computer doesn't keep accurate time. It's about 20% slow, meaning it'll show you've been riding for 48 minutes when you've really been riding for an hour. I bought the model with the least sophisticated computer, because my experience with them on other exercise equipment is that the calorie and heart rate monitors are inaccurate and not really useful. The one thing I expect them to do right, is track time though. Ultimately I can just use my phone to track time, so it's not a deal breaker. ... show more

    • The Most Important Activity at My House!
We recently moved across the country and couldn't take all of our possessions with us. Our exercise bike didn't make the cut and this machine was ordered to replace what we had to leave behind. I am very impressed! The packaging was phenomenal and it was fairly easy to put together. What I'm most impressed about is the sturdiness and function of the machine. The ride is so very much smoother than our previous bike. I have a degree in sports medicine and have had my hand in physical rehabilitation for 30 years. My knees love this bike!! The price was also a huge selling point. We had to replace most if our household items and we've been stretching our funds as far as we possibly could. It seems to be a well built unit. There are two problems however. First, my wife is 5’2” and with the seat at its lowest she can barely reach the pedals. Also the arms were too long so I had to drill new holes in each arm so she could reach them. They are now all the way down in the receiver pipe. Do not waste your money on this product. The one I bought had two major problems.1- the tension on drive did not work. 2- the distance on display screen shows incorrect miles; after 15 minutes of normal work, it showed 5 miles! Contacted the seller but they ignored the problems. If you open the package, you have to pay $50 and $10 for restocking ( even if product is defective). Before buying, I carefully read reviews (thank you, thoughtful reviewers), and this bike has a few reviews reporting a problem with a pedal coming off. But I felt confident to order when they also told about their experience with customer service. Putting the bike together was not hard, even by myself, a 69-year-old woman, who was about to have shoulder surgery. And I enjoyed the bike for about 6 months before the right pedal fell off. Since I wanted to share pictures of the problem, instead of calling the number on their Amazon shop page, I used the email address printed on the assembly instructions booklet. Received a response in less than 12 hours, asking if I thought I could perform replacement if they would send the parts and included a link to Amazon Photos that contained demonstration videos. I said sure! It looked easier than full assembly. Immediately, I received tracking info from FedEx, indicating a shipment was coming from China. The box arrived about a week later, well-packed, and including a special tool that was needed. Well, I couldn't get the left pedal unscrewed (who knew I have that much strength?), so Nora at Customer Service places an order for a replacement bike through Amazon. It came from Memphis, Tennessee and arrived two days later. Now, as I do my daily miles, I think about what an amazing job Ecanfit does with customer service. Most companies could learn a lot from their example! I wouldn't hesitate to buy another fitness product from this company. ... show more
