I bought this saw for small jobs when I didn't want to disturb my neighbors by running my gas-powered saw. I was actually quite impressed with its performance, but the first one I had quit abruptly in the middle of a cut, and I thought the battery was dead. I hadn't yet recharged the batteries since the initial charge when I first got it. I recharged the batteries and the saw sat for a few days before I tried to use it again. When I tried it again with fully charged batteries, it wouldn't run no matter what I tried. It was still within the return window, so I sent it back and got a replacement. I will also note that when I tried to contact the email address for product support shown on the manual, it bounced back as an invalid address. The second saw has been working pretty well. I've use it quite a bit and have been fairly impressed by its performance, although it apparently has some sort of thermal overload that will shut it down after a lot of use. I thought it had quit like the first one, but after it cooled off for several hours it worked again. I'm hoping it continues to work, but I'm now outside of the return window and there's apparently no product support, so if it quits again, I suppose I'm just out of luck. So, buyer beware. I'm keeping my expectations of long-term durability low.

I was surprised with the power and torque of this chainsaw. I used to be in the tree business and found it comparable to some of my gas powered saws. My first use was about 1/2 hour and it still had battery life left. I've read on other reviews about the oiler and claims that the chain easily comes off. When testing to see if it is oiling when you run the saw over a piece of paper or paper towel it's only going to throw off a fine mist. I think people and expecting to see more. Secondly, while using the saw you need to pay attention to the chain tension especially during the first few uses as a new chain will stretch. If the chain gets too loose it comes out of the bar channel and small branches or twigs will get underneath and throw the chain.

saw overheated after making 6 to 8 cuts and had to set for an hour every time before it would run again. batteries only lasted around 20 cuts and then had to be recharged. don't waste your time on this one.

This mini chain saw is my new favorite possession. It can cut through almost any small tree or branch like a mini lightsaber and is so easy to tighten the blade when it becomes loose. I am a petite woman and it is still super easy for me to use. I love it so much I find myself looking for things to cut around my yard for fun. Even got one for my parents. Definitely recommend!

Awesome little saw. Totally worth it. Only one thing you need to be very very I MEAN VERY CAREFUL about is. Once you’re done with your cut. The trigger lock stays on and the blade runs full speed. So make sure to click the trigger to turn off the blade after each cut. But I’d highly recommend this saw. Blade cuts fast and so far it a very sturdy saw.
