This set was quality. It was much better than I anticipated. The base and frame is metal. The rattan is thicker. It has some give but not a ton. I am 5’2” and petite and the chair is large for me in a good roomy way. I asked an average adult to sit in it and they said it was comfortable for them. Assembly was easy. I did it myself. All parts were good quality. Table also very solid. The top is a thick glass. I have reactions to chemicals and fragrances, but I did not detect any odor or have any breathing issues from working with this product. If I am going to be critical, the only improvements I would say are the following: The seat cushions are very thin. They do have a zipper in them, so I am just going to replace the foam with a better quality or purchase a different seat cushions. I like to porch sit and I think these would hurt my bum after a while. The pitch of the back is a bit reclined and stains my neck. I I am glad I purchased pillows for extra back support. I may get a ticket back cushion as well for comfort. I would recommend this product even with my critiques. It’s very solid and worth the money. It’s not super small. But a good profile for small places that you want to keep light and airy. Hope this helps! (Pillows and cases in photo are also from Amazon: pillows-Utopia Bedding Outdoor Pillows 18x18, cases- Gohdiwh 4th of July Throw Pillow Cases-both I recommend too. Decent quality for outside pillows.)

I had been searching for a couple months to find a sophisticated bistro set that would fit nicely on my apartment patio but still be generously sized and offer comfortable seating. Also, as a single woman, 73, with arthritis, I wanted a set that would not be overly arduous for me to assemble. This bistro set fit the bill on all points! It arrived sturdily and tightly packaged, and all pieces were well protected and in perfect condition. They even gave me a couple more screws and bolts! All you need to assemble the set is the Allen wrench that they provide. This set was SO easy to put together. All you do is screw the legs onto the 2 chairs and table. Couldn't be simpler, just a bit time-consuming because it is quite a few bolts to screw in. (Anyone who says they put this together in 10 minutes is LYING! 😂) I am very well experienced in putting furniture et al together and it took me 2 hours -- I watched a movie as I leisurely put it together one evening. I enjoy this sort of thing and always take time to make sure all screws are tight. The chairs have a STEEL frame (👏) and are very sturdy. The chairs have a generous seat and are very comfortable to sit on with the cushions provided. The size of this bistro set is perfect for my 8 x 16' patio. We get a lot of rain in Georgia in the spring and now we're into pine pollen season. The pillows are water repellent and I have just used the back of my hand to lightly brush off the raindrops and/or pine pollen. I have not felt the need to wash the pillows as no need to yet! I am very, very pleased with this purchase. You're not going to find a prettier or more stylish bistro set for the money than this one. I have seen 3-piece Bistro Sets in various garden stores for 600 to $800 that don't look nearly as nice and stylish as this and not built as sturdy. When you sit down on these bistro chairs, you don't have to fear about them breaking under you. I am 5'7 and weigh 160 lb and sit on these chairs 2-3 hours a day enjoying the fresh air while I read and enjoy my morning coffee or eat lunch. The chairs feel very sturdy under me and there's been no loosening of the screws. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I get compliments on how cute this set is from everyone who visits my apartment, including the resident manager.

Easy to assemble and came in 1 box that i was able to carry myself. The chairs look great and they're durable, strong, and not cheaply made. The table is really nice as well. I love the pillow that was included. I wish the seated cushion was thicker.

Cute and sturdy but not very comfortable. Wish we could have returned it but returns are not easy!! This is NOT an Amazon product so you have to figure out the return shipping yourself and it's not free. I should have read that detail so it's on me. However we ended up keeping it because return shipping would have cost more than the original price!! I'm so mad at myself for buying this!!

This is a nice bistro set. Easy to put together and surprisingly sturdy. My 200 lb neighbor sat in one of the chairs and it was fine. No swaying. No bending. The only thing is the cushions could be a little thicker, but I’m on the hunt for something thicker. This is a great set definitely a bargain.
