I needed another 12V DC to 120V AC to be able to run my refrigerator. It can run my Ham Radio station but the RFI generated by it is very bad on 30 meters and below including the AM broadcast band. About 10db over S9 on 40 meters. It might be OK with some filters. Negative terminal not connected to ground. Neutral is not bonded to ground. It came with cables large enough for it's load, one fused, so I didn't have to buy cables. Noise is not a problem as unit is in my garage. Fans only runs when hot. Has terminals for a permanent connection to AC output. I have a 600 watt Bestek from Amazon and it has zero RFI that my radio can detect. It does have a lot of added filters on the input and output lines. I can also run my Ham Radio strictly on DC as the radio, computer and monitor run on 12V DC so this inverter will not be a problem. This review is to let the Amateur radio users to look elsewhere other than that it is a great inverter that will run the full 1500 Watts. Update: A lot of people ask what the battery drain is with no load. Completly off: 0.018 ma. Remote Display adds about 40 ma. when on nothing when off. On with no load: At 13.5 volts it is about 1/2 amp. fans not running. At 12 volts about 1 amp. fans not running. At 11.5 volts a little over 1 amp. fans not running. At 11.3 complete shutdown then drops to 18 ma. The lower the battery voltage the more it consumes without a load.

Just received this product. Put it to the test with a 1500W heat gun for a couple hours cycling a new battery I just built. Inverter worked flawlessly up to around 100amp input. However, early on I noticed one of the included red (2AWG) cables got very hot so I backed down the watts being used to reduce the amps going in to around 70amp. Under inspection after the test, I noticed the cables are copper clad aluminum (CCA) garbage and one crimp was loose. I promptly tossed out the included cables and am creating my own out of pure copper. Long story short. Check your cables and I will only use pure copper. They cost more, but are safer and better capable of handing the load. For the price, I wish the manufacturer would include cables capable of handling the load without starting a fire. Real Copper.

It is a pure sinewave inverter. Designed for your car's 12v lighter plug. Duracell is selling the same one, with Duracell colors and branding, but I am pretty sure Krieger is the original manufacturer for both. It works as expected, I have had a pretty good experience so far and I prefer Krieger than some non brand models for $5 less. it is rated at 150W, which is perfect, since your car can probably deliver much less than that through the plug (12Vx10A=120W). nice touch is that the cable can be removed from the unit . had some trouble plugging it in all the way. Plug is pretty rigid, but it needs to be like that, so it stays firmly plugged in during charging. There are two cons as far as i can see, hence the 4 stars: 1) it does not have on/off switch, so I suggest you unplug after use, to make sure you don't drain car battery overnight. 2) it runs pretty hot, almost too hot to hold, even with the built in fan. Not sure if that is okay or not, so far I had no issues with it. Other than these, great little Inverter!

This inverter (1500w) seems to be well-built. I like the features, like the LED screen, multiple outlets, hard wire option, remote on/off, and other features. I was impressed that it came with a built-in fuse on the positive cable to the battery. The cables themselves are longer and heavier than I expected. I also like that the remote has a voltage meter on it. The only reason I gave it a 4 rather than a 5 is that the efficiency is "85% min.". I was hoping for 90%. Also, the No Load Current is <1.2 A. I was hoping for less. Overall, it seems like a very nice unit.

Put this in a shed on the property with a battery and solar panel. It runs everything including lights, chargers , tools, and vacuum. No buzzing like the old modified sine wave inverter! Love the remote switch panel with its battery status and watts draw.

This is a nice little inverter. It's only slightly larger than a 12oz. soda can. This weekend's test was a a 10-inch desk fan for over 6 hours straight. It handled this with no issues. The DC side pulled a steady 5A @ 11.5V the entire time (which works out to about 58 watts of input power). Don't worry... the batteries settled in at 12.4V under load. The diodes in the battery load balancing circuit burn about 0.9V, and 11.5 is still within the published safe operating range for the inverter. I did try using the USB ports to power/charge a USB speaker while the speaker was being used. That didn't go too well. The USB charging output is noisy and all but wiped out the music when the speaker was plugged in. Not a big deal for me. Just know that the USB output is noisy. The only thing that I think could be improved is the DC connection. You get a wire with a small polarized plug at one end and a fused "cigarette lighter" plug at the other. There is no terminal strip for running wires directly to a battery bank. But I suspect the target for this product is people who want to run a laptop or similar device while in the car, so it kinda' makes sense. Having the option would be nice though.

Read the manual! First time connecting the battery/battery bank, IT WILL SPARK! Make sure you have the cables correct! 2000÷115=17.4 amps. On the DC side the fuse included is a 200 amp fuse. But once it is connected, correctly , it seems to be working well
