Chilling beer and other beverages at -5 deg C. Works really well. Plugged in for over a month now without any issues. Eco mode works well, beers ice cold, soft drinks/ water will freeze with the -5 deg C but at -3 deg C everything was just ideal. Also, it's my first fridge like this, for me the built quality is great and looks simple yet stylish. Love it very much.

I purchased this 12V refrigerator and used it for nearly two years on a daily basis. Unfortunately, after this relatively short period, it suddenly stopped working altogether. To make matters worse, around the six-month mark, I noticed that the compressor started making loud, disturbing noises and caused excessive vibrations, which was quite concerning. Another major drawback is the poor quality of the lid seal. It doesn’t effectively retain the cold air inside, causing the compressor to work overtime in an attempt to maintain the desired temperature. This not only affects the overall efficiency but also puts additional strain on the refrigerator’s components. Navigating the buttons and settings on this refrigerator is quite a hassle. Without a proper manual, it’s challenging to figure out the correct settings for different situations. This lack of user-friendliness can be frustrating, especially when you’re trying to make quick adjustments. In terms of insulation, I found it to be just average. I could noticeably feel that the outer box of the refrigerator was colder than the surrounding environment, indicating that the insulation might not be as effective as I had hoped for. One of the concerns I encountered was the power consumption. At times, the refrigerator drew up to 80 watts, which felt quite high. This could potentially lead to energy inefficiency, especially if you’re using it for extended periods. All in all, while the initial appeal of this 12V refrigerator seemed promising, the overall experience has left me disappointed. The premature breakdown, coupled with the noise, vibration, and inadequate seal, overshadowed any convenience it initially offered. The difficult navigation of settings and the concerns over insulation and power draw further added to the downsides. I had higher expectations for a product with such an essential role in daily use.

Had this for about 3 months now, used the fridge daily to store drinks. The fridge kept the drinks cool and water was frozen on the freezer side. I like it that the fridge had 2 doors to open each side separately rather then one big door. The only down fall is the temperature can’t be change separately. The fridge doesn’t make loud noise and holds temperature well.

The cooler feels cheap, it's even uglier in person. I thought it would be a good idea to save some money but do yourself a favor and shell out a little more to get the nicer one.

Update: After using the refrigerator for two years and taking several "two week long" trips the on off switch quit working. Luckily it was on when it quit working so it's just a matter of unplugging and plugging back in. It also seems to use more electricity than the 55w that it claimed. Maybe it is just our solar system but it killed 2 lifepo4 100ah batteries within two days of rainy weather and not much sun. The batteries never really caught back up during the trip (I'm not sure if it was just the bad weather or the 200ah wasn't enough to run it) but did catch back up after we unplugged it. We are upgrading solar from 200 watts to 600 watts and getting 2 more 100ah batteries for a total of 400ah. Hopefully that will run it even during a few cloudy days. My husband is now worried that it will drain the extra batteries so I am currently looking for a replacement to have on hand. It does do a great job when the batteries aren't drained and the sun is out though so I will hopefully find someone who can use it because I'm sure it has a lot of life left in it.
