This product was an easy install and performs flawlessly- time will reveal more about its longevity. The dealership wanted nearly $600 for the part and nearly $450 to install it. The install took roughly 30 minutes and no modifications were necessary.

Tools you'll need: - 3/8" Ratchet wrench - 13mm socket - 6" or 8" socket extension - T27 Torx bit, may need socket version - 5mm Allen Socket - Flat screwdriver - Ratchet wrench - Ratchet strap - Threadlocker (loctite) Possibly need penetrating oil & lube. Raise the truck to highest off-road setting if you have air suspension. Easier to get underneath with ramps. Use ratchet strap to go around mirror arm, under front of running board, and to frame. Do NOT tighten, just snug to support running board once motor is removed. Use 5mm Allen Socket to remove 2 screws from bottom of arm to running board. You do NOT need to be under truck to do. Get under truck. Use flat screwdriver to disconnect wire connector. Remove 3 nuts using 13mm socket and extension. Lighlty pry with screwdriver between the running and running board arm to separate. The T27 torx is still connected. It may be easier to let the motor hang down a bit to remove the screw. May need more than just T27 screwdriver, get something with a little more leverage since it was rusted. One of the few rusted parts. May need penetrating oil. Once screw is removed, everything should be disconnected. Slide it of the shaft wiggling it up and down a bit. Clean the areas and resemble in the reverse order using the new motor. Use loctite on bolts. Total time: 30-60 minutes. The install was fairly easy. I had my running boards set to "store" after the driver side running board would attempt to deploy but made a terrible whir whir whir sound trying to.

Fits perfectly and wasn’t too difficult to install. It works smooth and not to mention the price is awesome compared to what the dealership quoted me which was $1000 to fix compared to this. Highly recommend.

Bought this product back in January. Worked fine till about September then ir decided not to close all the way. I have contacted the company several times through amazon and they have not responded. In the box it states a 1 year warranty but the warranty is worthless if they do not answer or stand by their product. Steer clear.

Tried purchasing only the bracket from dealership, turned out to be wrong part. The price for OEM part that they claim are sold separately would have costed close to $1000.00 for brkt n motor. This is a GREAT deal. Easy installation all one piece with no problems 😊
