I've got several cars that I maintain, and I'm always wanting to make sure that the batteries in them are in a charged state. Several of them don't get driven regularly, and without a convenient outlet for a float charger, I use this to test the battery periodically to make sure it's not too low. I've also had challenges knowing whether I have working alternators, as my BMW seems to enjoy going through them rather quickly. This solves both my battery testing needs as well as my alternator testing, and for the price, it's worth not having to go to my local parts store to have either my battery or alternator tested. I'd buy it again, as it does what it's supposed to.

I tested four car batteries that were already in vehicles. They all tested about what I thought they would. I believe this instrument to be pretty accurate and consistent. I would recommend, I think this is a good value for the money hopefully it lasts a while. I Like the alternator and starter testing also. I will take this with me on longer trips just in case.
