The manual did not match what I saw on my phone app. Also, I almost gave up connecting to the camera via data, like when you are away from home, but finally got it to work under the dual band option. I almost returned the camera but kept fiddling and now it works and I am keeping it. I chose this product because I needed an indoor camera to keep an eye on my dog's movements at all times. When I first saw the camera, it felt light and small, with a white exterior that look like an Apple style product. After connecting the power, the camera will automatically correct the posture, and there will be a prompt tone to remind you that you need to connect to the WIFI. It is easy to link to the network according to the steps of the manual, then download the APPS according to the requirements of the manual, and link to the camera, it seems very simple. Thought this would be really cute. I loaded the app and the cute little thing did a turn or two like R2D2, but sadly couldn't get the internet connection. Found out it's not compatible with my Orbi Mesh network. Missed the return date so now till try and sell to someone for half price.

I was going to return, since they have to be plugged in. However, I read up on plugin type cameras vs battery operated and the advantages of streaming video a feature I needed. With all the other great features of these cameras these are the best buy I could have made. My mom is in assisted living and we can now keep on eye on her to make sure she is okay. She had almost died a couple of months ago. I love that I can talk to her through the cameras and that I can remotely turn to view other parts of her room.
