I bought two of these cameras to replace others that died. So glad I did! It did take a while to get them set up because I didn't quite understand the instructions. There is no blinking light, you'll hear beeps instead. That was the most frustrating part. Once I realized that, the rest of the set up was easy. These little cameras do a lot! This product doesn’t work. Purchased this for my mother’s home. Finally, came the installation. The manual is useless. The camera doesn’t work. No blinking lights only a loud irritating sound. I passed the window of return for this product so am now out the cost of this garbage. Will have to go now to a “REAL” shop that sells proper surveillance equipment. Regarding Amazon, their standards are getting lower and lower with each passing moment. They need real competition to prevent them from passing off their garbage products on unsuspecting customers. Needless to say, I’m extremely irate and will be shopping around for a vendor that values their customers. SHAME ON YOU AMAZON for passing off this piece of crap! ... show more

It was NOT easy to set this up. The manual did not match what I saw on my phone app. Also, I almost gave up connecting to the camera via data, like when you are away from home, but finally got it to work under the dual band option. I almost returned the camera but kept fiddling and now it works and I am keeping it. I would give the camera itself five stars but since the manual is so crappy and hard to read, I’ll give this product four stars. You may want to look at the manual online. I was going to return, since they have to be plugged in. However, I read up on plugin type cameras vs battery operated and the advantages of streaming video a feature I needed. With all the other great features of these cameras these are the best buy I could have made. My mom is in assisted living and we can now keep on eye on her to make sure she is okay. She had almost died a couple of months ago. I love that I can talk to her through the cameras and that I can remotely turn to view other parts of her room.
