This is the second one that I have bought and I love them. I carry one with me all the time and I have the other one in my craft room. They throw a nice even flame without a lot of sputtering and spitting. I use them a lot with paracord and other crafts that have to be heat Sealed. They are easy to light and use. The style is very hand compatible too, for when you are doing a lot of work at one time. I definitely read recommend them to anyone that needs a small direct flame for crafting or other uses. The safety on the lighter did stop working after a pretty significant accidental drop to the ground but still the lighter itself is working great after at least 10 refills. It’s fairly heavy and well made. I just purchased a 2nd one to gift to a family member. Would definitely recommend. Don’t accidentally cup your hand like you would with a regular lighter. I din't quite expect the lighter to be entirely metal. It is rather heavy, substantial, all the moving parts are solid. there is no plastic. of course, the triple flame lights my pipe powerfully, the boutique tobaccos tend to be a bit on the moist side. the flame is focused and adjustable.

So, previously I rated this product pretty poorly, as I thought it ran out way too fast. Not so. You NEED to follow the provided instructions, because unlike many torches you CANNOT simply release the gas when it's out, and then immediately refuel. Or at least, not that simply anyway. I didn't follow the instructions for a while, which meant that eventually the tank was just filled with air and it wouldn't take in any butane. I give this product 3 stars because there are many problems with it. For one, adjusting the flame level is really inconvenient. To do it reliably you need to have a flathead screwdriver, which a lot of people simply don't own. For two, emptying the fuel tank is really difficult. You need to have an object that's thin enough to fit, but sturdy enough that applying pressure won't break it. I've found that a toothpick or kebab skewers does the job well. If you have a sim card removal tool and would like to use that, be careful as you can accidentally force the rubber stopper around the intake further in. Be careful not to do that regardless what you use though because it's a lot easier than it should be. Finally, the safety lock is pretty weak, I managed to break it only after a few weeks of having it. I was mistreating it a bit (again, ADD, fidgety), however what I was doing was not so forceful that it should've broke. It definitely shouldn't have. One last warning, do NOT overfill the tank. I did, and now no fuel comes out from anywhere, and it's totally broken. Overfilling the tank basically just destroys the thing which is another mark against it. So, TL:DR, do I recommend this product? I don't know. It's a good torch, but many things are wrong with it. It's not going to shatter if it falls on the ground, but breaking it is a bit too easy. On the bright side, you can register it for free with a two year warranty so it seems they know that. Overall, an okay product. ... show more
