    • You need to bleed the lighter if it stops working
I love this lighter but it stopped working like the reviews said, but after some research I found that you should bleed the lighter because of air pockets. After two weeks of using this lighter it stopped working and I was very disappointed. I did some looking around on the inter web and it guided me into this fix. I’m ambivalent about this lighter. It’s smaller than I had hoped, much lighter (no pun! ;-) weight, and pretty cheaply made. For $15 it’s probably just what you’d expect, and will probably become a paperweight at some point. Alas, it’s painted plastic so not even really useful as an ornament. But for the first month they put out a nice quad flame, and the little metal bits, with some adjusting, turn the flame red. If you’re just buying it for a brief novelty, you’ll be happy. If you’re expecting something to last a lifetime and decorate your table with élan: look elsewhere. ... show more
