Picked these up specifically to replace the Bic lighters that fail every time the wind kicks up at a campsite. The dual arc fires up immediately and stays lit through gusts that would have me cursing at a regular flame. USB-C charging means I can top them off from the same battery pack the rest of the camp gear uses. Plastic body is lighter than the metal versions but it's fine for the price, and it slides into a zipper pocket without bulk. Battery indicator is a nice touch. Realistic con, the arcs are hot enough that you can't hold the trigger for more than a few seconds without warming the body. Solid 2-pack value, one for the bin and one for the truck.

USB-C electric lighter is great. I've used electric lighters before. They usually can get (dusty?) or the particles from the ashes can block the pathways of the lighter. It can be an annoying aspect of an electric lighter. This one has a vertical cross-dual arc electric fire with open-sides (I'm very bad at describing it). Which is a very interesting design, I can see that there's less chance for ashes to get in the path way after long use. So far, it's working well. They also have a horzitonal cross-dual arc electric flame; you'd encounter the issue I'm talking about with that. Horizontal cross-dual arc can be blocked by ashes that get into their pathways from frequent burning near the arc.

The orange plasma lighter works as expected, but the black windproof butane lighter does not function. Lights <1 out of every 50 clicks. The spark works and gas is coming out but it just doesnât light.

We are putting together a go bag in case of emergency and needed a lighter that would work in storm situation. After doing some research and reading reviews - we decided to give these a try. We love them - they both work great. We have not used them in a storm yet, but with the weather changing here we have no doubt that they will do the job! You do need to purchase the butane separately, but that is not an issue- just a note.
