After reading a few reviews here’s mine. This is by no means a small lighter nor is it light like a bic. It’s a metal lighter. You have to purchase butane because it doesn’t come filled and will not work. Filling is easy. The flame last plenty of time, I am burning plant material and even works well when you’re near clog. A torch lighter is obviously going to use more butane than a regular bic style lighter. These arrive empty (shipping law tantrum), so step one is a 10-second butane blast—no biggie, just don’t expect instant gratification. 🔥 Flame Facts Single jet, pencil-thin, hits ~1 300 °C—lights a 2-inch oak chunk in three seconds flat. 6-inch neck keeps knuckle hair intact; I’ve torched 30 candles without the “ow-ow-ow” dance [^0^]. Dial at base spins from “candle kiss” to “melt copper” ; half-turn is the sweet spot for grill duty. 🛠️ Build & Ergonomics All-metal body feels like a chunky Sharpie, not a Happy-Meal toy. Fuel window is tiny but visible—when you see bubbles, refill or risk “click-click-rage.” Piezo is rated for 20 000 cycles; I’m at ~800 with zero misfires so far [^1^]. 🌬️ Wind Test Held it out the car window at 45 mph—flame bends but doesn’t snuff. “Windproof” is legit for anything short of a hurricane. ⚠️ Quirks No child lock; if your kid likes clicky things, hide these higher than the cookie jar.     • Little bit faulty New Edit
It’s a cool lighter first of all. It does light up easy and gives a nice flame. It worked awesome for like 2 days and then one of the two lighters started being faulty. I would slide up to light the flame and it would light. But instead of it turning off after you let go mine kept burning. It had me worried for a bit but I just turned the level down. I did further inspection and realized gas was being released the whole time and the only way to stop it was to turn the butane all the way down, if you turn it up you can hear gas release. It’s a bit dangerous but that was only one of the two lighters I’ll see how the second holds up. Edit: the red lighter ended up working good it’s been a year now and the red is still working good. We might’ve just got unlucky with one of them but do with that what you will. ... show more

    • Good Value Lighters
These are very good lightweight lighters. They have had daily use and have kept working for over a year. I recently bought two more as they are finally starting have minor problems. But they are easy to use and light every time. The flame adjust is on the bottom which is slightly inconvenient since you have to have the flame off when adjusting so not sure how high/low flame will be. But the flame adjust does work pretty well. The only drawback is the fill capacity of the tank, it's small, but it would be too bulky if the tank was bigger. The price was good for a two-pack. I can recommend these lighters and hope your experience will be as good as mine. ... show more

One of the best lighters that I've ever used. They are incredibly easy to refill and don't leak fuel all over the place during the process like so many other lighters do.     • black one no longer working after just one week
i’ve owned these for a week or so. frequent use with the flame at recommended 1-2 in. and i’ve had to fill the black one twice. sadly, after 2nd fill it no longer works. now i’ve gotta vent all that butane (which isn’t a big deal) but thankfully i got the warranty from Urgrette. Hope i get a no-return-needed replacement. cuz while these lighters work they are fantastic. easy to operate with one hand. don’t set the flame on high though. it doesn’t always extinguish when you let the button go. that happened a few times, not just an isolated incident. hope the red one works as well or better! ... show more

These torch lighters last forever for me. I really like that they are adjustable and they are nice colors. They light right up first click and function great. You can adjust the fame to be very low or you can turn it up and get a strong flame out of it. I have tried other brands but they never last and these for the money last a long time. They are very easy to fill and it takes a little while to burn the fluid out of one. I like the size to because they are slim and easy to store anywhere. ... show more

Neither lighter from my pack of two worked. One couldn’t be filled with butane, I assume due to a malfunction with the lighter’s valve. The second lighter even after filled with butane and adjusted on the bottom won’t light. I cannot recommend this product. Very disappointed
