Shockingly good for quick cleanups of hot tub or leaves/debris in areas like steps and ledges that robots can’t get. A few of the reviews criticized the pole, but they may not have known that if you unscrew the pole comes with, you can use it with the standard telescoping pool pole - it has a little spring clip to accommodate those. Battery life and suction are great, picked up large leaves and even twigs, bag is a good size and has a helpful floating piece to keep it upright. Shape of head annd brush placement is notideal for my fiberglass pool with its rounded edges but if I go slowly it still works and gets the areas where dirt accumulated they robots can miss. Overall I’d highly recommend this - I originally got it mainly for the hot tub but it can do a lot more.

Really easy to use. We have a deep kidney-shaped pool; 38,000 gal. We have a Polaris robotic unit and a Pool-Skim surface leaf device, but even they get overwhelmed with leaves this time of year. We charged this little vac overnight and it really helped hit small batches of leaves that still made it to the bottom but I didn't want to put the Polaris in. I use our standard pole- the one it comes with is good for hot tubs but our pool is too deep so used our pole. We had a competitor's leaf vac and the battery case always leaked. This unit's batteries are built-in and nice to just charge it. We liked how the vac bag has a styrofoam float to keep the bag upright; our old unit's bag constantly got wrapped around the pole or under it so this was a nice touch. It took quick care of the Chinese Pistache tree leaves that get into our pool, but it had a tough time with some silver maple leaves- which normally are too far from the pool but we had some heavy wind. The vac ran well and was still going at 30 minutes of continuous use so that was impressive. The vacuuming flow isn't super strong but again, it worked very well for our needs. I definitely will be ordering an extra bag or two so I can just keep going and then empty the bags when I'm completely finished. Also comes with a sheet of letters/numbers that are stylized to look like Navy ship hull numbers/letters- we'll be giving it a name here soon- kinda fun. I think this will be a good unit and hopefully will get 3-4 years use out of it. I'm sure the battery will Peter-out eventually and it doesn't appear replaceable. That's sadly the nature of manufacturing overseas and domestic- planned or forced obsolescence. With good care and storing the unit in a cool space, and not over-charging it, I'm hoping to keep this running as long as possible.

The media could not be loaded. Skeptical opening the box because it was so light and looked flimsy. Easily assembled with just a few "could be better" issues. Charged quickly and boy was I surprised. Although my pool is self cleaning, getting leaves out is a must. GREAT suction. I only used for about 30 minutes, but battery was strong & suction was continuous. I only got the standard bag, but you can see (photos) it sucked up alot of tiny particulates, so may not need a "finer" mesh bag. The bag surprisingly stayed on despite the flimsy pullstring fastener. Two could be better fixes: the included pole is very flimsy and too short. Consider making the hole to fit ordinary pool poles and/or making it extendable. (2) the brushes are like manicure brushes...too soft and too small . Bottom line. It did the job surprisingly well. Looks like a Swiffer but sucks underwater like a Dyson...and for the life of me, I dont know how with that itty bitty battery motor. Would buy again if the pole issue was fixed on a newer model.

When I tell you that this is the absolute best product for my pool that I have bought so far. It has a very powerful suction. I was able to get all of the leaves out of my pool within 20 minutes and there were a lot of leaves in there. It is very lightweight, but it is also very powerful. I highly recommend this product.

I purchased another vacuum, but returned it the next day because the filter was getting clogged and the vacuum would stop suctioning, As with any normal vacuum cleaner. This one works great because there is no filter. It sucks up dirt, leaves, small debris without having to stop an empty any filters, or cleaning any filters. This is a genius design. I’m going to keep this one.

This product is good for simpler jobs for picking up leaves and other matter from a small pool bottom well. But it may not be what you want if you have a larger pool and lots of leaves. My pool (about 20k gallons) had a lot of leaves scattered on the bottom, and my robotic pool vacuum has limited bin capacity to pick them all up in one go. So thought this might be a good fit, with its relatively larger net and being able to take it to where I want in the pool. The problems I faced with this are the following: - Short thin pole. Does not reach the center areas of the pool, so had to work on the periphery areas. Could not attach the longer standard pole I had, because it was thicker and would not go on the unit. - The unit has a small suction/pickup area relative to pool rake nets or robotic vacuums. One needs to linger over an area and move the unit slowly to pick up leaves - with your outstretched arm. - Overall it takes much more muscle power and time to pick up the same amount of leaves than with a pool leaf rake net! In the end I bought a new pool leaf rake net (the one I had was old and blunted on the edges) for $15 and did the job faster and with lesser effort. And much cheaper too! So make sure you know your use case for this product.
