The media could not be loaded. There's little revolutionary about this faucet. It's just a basic kitchen faucet exceptionally well done. No electronics. No touchless operation. Just a valve, a faucet base and a spray end, but each of them built with the care reflecting Kohler's reputation quality. Here are the faucet's major pluses: 1) Solid metal base. Look at the video I've included to see the wide polished base on this faucet. The stainless is solid through-and-through. 2) Three spray patterns: aerated, sweep and boost. I will describe sweep and boost later. 3) A good magnetic retention system for the spray head. No dangling head with this faucet. 4) Lifetime warranty. Ceramic disk cartridge. 5) Elgeant looks. Simple, but classy. Kohler is a quality manufacturer of kitchen and bath fixtures and this is a quality Kohler faucet. There are a few features to the faucet head that I'll conclude by describing. "Sweep" spraying action. If you select the spray rather than aerated flow on the faucet's spray head, you get an elongated, very thin oval spray. Though the spray head looks like it should put out the normal circular pattern you're probably used to, its spray tips are actually angled in order direct the spray into a thinner ovoid pattern whose individual spray jets are aimed in opposite directions, giving the spray greater effectiveness in sweeping surfaces and scouring dirt. "Boost" mode gives thirty percent greater water flow when the boost button is pressed. Now this may be nice, but it's not magically creating greater flow. All "Boost" does is to allow more of your plumbing's normal flow to run through your faucet's head without GPM restriction. There's nothing magical about it. It can't compensate when water pressure isn't high in the first place. This is a great faucet. ... show more

This review is for a Kohler 23764-VS Tone Kitchen Sink Faucet. Mine is in the Vibrant Stainless style which is sort of like a brushed stainless steel but there are many other styles to select from as well. Some are two tone if you are looking for that. The head on this unit is raised up high enough that it doesn't get in the way when using it. This was one of my main reasons for buying this type of faucet. Being able to move things around in your sink without crashing into the faucet is great. This thing is beautiful and the materials are good quality. It has a solid metal base and everything is put together well. It comes with everything you need to install it in the box. The controls. It has a handle on the right hand side that controls the water flow and the selection of hot and cold. The pull-down sprayer has a swivel head which makes it more comfortable to move around at various angles and is attached to a braided cord. It also has silicone water jets for easy cleaning which is nice to see. There are 2 sets of buttons on here. One controls the boost mode while the other set is a rocker switch that lets you switch between sweep or regular streams. There is a magnetic catch for the spray head that holds it up when not in use and makes it appear like a regular faucet. This worked very well in my testing, it held it up securely while being easy to break free and use the sprayer. Sprayer functions. The sprayer is able to do a few different patterns. One is called sweep and this is a wide multi stream pattern that resembles a blade of water and is good for clearing off plates or other large things like pans. Then you have the standard stream spray which is what you think of when you turn on a faucet. This is what you would use for filling things up or general tasks. There is boost mode which temporarily increases the flow rate by 30% to help with filling pots or to boost the cleaning power of the modes mentioned above. This does not magically create more water pressure. It just lets more pressure through that it was holding back in the first place to reach its gallon per hour claims. Installation. If you have ever installed a faucet then there will be no surprises here. This is the same as any others. Turn your water off under the sink and disconnect everything for your current faucet. Then put this one in from up top making sure to get all the hoses through the hole. You will then secure the faucet with a locking not that has 2 bolts on it. Once the nuts is secure you use these bolts to tighten it further and to prevent it from coming loose. If you have done everything correctly it will be secure and not moving around. Then attach the hoses to your water lines and attach the sprayer line and turn the water on. Inspect for any leaks and if there are none then you are good to go. The instructions in the box are more than adequate to help you with some visual aids too. I was surprised they were so good. They are all on one single giant piece of paper and cover everything you need to know. Overall this is a wonderful faucet. It is very basic but that is exactly what I was looking for. I want something simple so that it will last a long time which is also the reason I went with Kohler. They are a well known brand of faucet and with this kind of thing you really do get what you pay for. You can feel the quality while using this and that is worth the price to me. ... show more
