We love our movie nights when out camping with our friends. I have been using a nice projector but it did lack the intensely bright picture that we wanted, or needed. This projector solves that issue. It is not only bright, but the sound quality is great and the volume level is also very nice. You really do not need a sound system indoors. You can, however, add external sound systems by using the earphone/audio out jack. It takes some doing to learn all that it does so I still have more to play with but it is generally easy to operate. The Android app it uses is just like the app on our TV set that we have been using for some time so it is quite easy to navigate. You can download many apps to use for your viewing or gaming pleasure. I did experience just a little issue with the auto keystone operation but I feel that it is more me than the projector. There is no manual keystone lever or dial like so many others offer so I will sort it out. As i already wrote, the picture is quite bright and the sound is great indoors. The picture is crystal clear and the sound is also very clear. It can be used on screens up to 120 inches. We are using a 100 inch screen and it is a perfect fit. There is an option in the programming that allows you to actually size the picture without having to move it closer or farther from the screen. Well, within reason. A large picture up real close to the screen requires the projector to be moved back. But that is reasonable to expect. I was able to set the remote up as it really does it all by itself. Unfortunately, pairing with my Android phone is another thing. I just could not get it done. I am not saying that the projector was at fault, more likely it was me messing things up. I will eventually get it right. Once started there will be a program update that will take approx 30 minutes to download. It cones in a nice labeled box and includes the projector and a second box that has the remote (2 AAA batteries not included), charging cable, power supply and cord and the best manual that I have ever seen for a projector. It is a small unit at about 5 inches tall, 4 inches wide and maybe 4 1/2 deep. There is a handle on the top for carrying. A single on/off button is found on the top with no additional controls anywhere. You must use the remote to navigate and operate. This is something that does not sit well with me. I like not totally relying on a remote. Should the remote fail the phone app might be your only option. I cannot say for sure because, as said earlier, mine did not work. On the back is the remote sensor, the power input, the headphone/audio out jack, a USB plug, an HDMI plug and a power indicator that is red when plugged in and off that turns green when on. No SD card slot are found on this one. Other than the lack of onboard controls I can't find a single thing to not like about this product. We will be camping with the gang in two weeks and everyone is looking forward to another movie night. This projector will be the hit of the party. ... show more

I love how great the quality of the image the projector provides as well as the ease of setup and use. The remote control is very simple and easy to use. You can also expand the parameter of the image as needed without too much distortion which comes in handy if you have a larger surface to watch.

This little projector is an ALMOST perfect portable theater on the go. With an ANSI 200 Lumen brightness rating it's not the brightest but it comes with built in AndroidTV and any streaming app you would want. The handle on top makes it super cute and portable so you would expect to just be able to grab it and tether it to your mobile phone and play movies on a wall out behind your dorm. The one missing feature to make that dream a reality is the lack of a rechargeable battery built in. You can grab it and go but you better bring that 50' extension cord with you and find a plug nearby. So close to a really really cool grab and go projector. ... show more

I purchased this projector because I thought the speaker on it would be loud enough. Unfortunately, the speaker quality was as low as those mini projectors on Temu... I also want to add that having to reconnect the remote to the projector each time it is turned off is very annoying. I will likely be returning it. ... show more

I got the KODAK FLIK HD9 Smart Projector to use when we go camping or want to watch a movie in the backyard. It is much smaller than I expected, which is a good thing! It comes with all the current goodies such as Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi, 16:9 aspect ratio as well as running Android TV. It can run Netflix and Amazon Prime natively which gives you plenty of streaming options. The brightness is good enough for a simply lit room or a somewhat darkened backyard and looks great in either.
