I have been using this for a few months on a daily basis and it is still working great! I'm having issues with my regular stove and I couldn't be happier to be using this cooktop. I love the digital controls, it heats up quickly and it's super easy to clean. Keep it plugged in for a bit when you're done cooking because it will run its fan to cool the stove quicker and the red light will turn off when it's safe to touch. ... show more

If you need something portable and compact, then this is a great option. It's about the size of a large book and not that heavy. KEEP IN MIND THIS IS NOT AN INDUCTION STOVE so you will have more flexibility on the cookware you can use. That said, I think exercising caution on the surface is prudent b/c it will scratch. It does heat up quickly which is a plus. If and when you travel with it, you should be prepared to have a reasonably short (or long) extension cord of the proper gauge b/c the included cord isn't going to give you the cooking location flexibility you may need. I docked a star for the silly and dubious title saying "No radiation to protect family health". Come on, what's up with that dubious scare-tactic. It's an electric stove. And if you want to get down to the definition of radiation, you feel the radiant heat coming from from the burner going to the pan. This model doesn't make you any safer from "radiation" than any other electric burner out there. ... show more
