You won't believe how big this wire is better have some good wire cutters!!! Best power wire quality and price!!! Got it running from my alternater, to my D3400 xs power battery under my hood, all the way to the D1200 xs power behind 2nd row seat, straight to mono amp and distribution block catching my 4 channel amp. System has 2 American Bass 10" xfl 1000 watts RMS EACH, planet audio BB 2000 watt RMS, alpine type R 6.5 front, Polk audio 6.5 rear, kenwood tweeters front pillars, with kenwood 4 channel 500 watt RMS. This stuff is great, really easy to work with, the protective layer is thick, but reasonably easy to cut. This is silver tinned, which originally I was against. But after seeing the oxidation on my 100% copper runs I new I needed a change, they are tinned with silver because silver doesn’t oxidize. No more voltage drops! ... show more

Considering what similar cable goes for from other brands, I'd consider this a good value. These are HUGE and I'd recommend good crimping tools and soldering. I used a big pair of vice grips before soldering and it worked good. I've seen others use a bench vice, but I don't have one, so I used what I had and these aren't coming apart. I AM a little concerned about the thickness of the jacket. It is a little thin, IMO, for using in the engine compartment, but I'm going to use some wire loom to protect at least the positive leads, but I'd definitely pay attention to routing. I'll be going back for more later. ... show more
