  • Cupcakes and kn*ts
I saw a random fanart of this, and I bought it right away. Oh, what a good purchase this was. This book was unexpectedly good. I'm saying this because it's my first book by this author and didn't know what to expect. It did not disappoint. It was my first Devyn Sinclair book, but it is definitely not my last. This is Esme's story, and we get to be inside her head for most of the book. We get to feel what she's feeling, see what she's thinking, and learn what hurts her... and it's a lot. Since her twin sister is the sweetheart actress everyone knows and loves, she had to live in her shadow even though it was not intentional from Eva's part. Eva is her biggest fan and supporter, and I'm glad she was always in Esme's corner. Esme struggled to find a pack for herself, and this gave her a very unflattering reputation in the media, but that's about to change when she meets Ben. Her cupcake man was the catalyst that changed her whole world. The pack wanted her from the first moment they scented her, but to get to her, to make her understand they wanted her for her was a whole process that was painful sometimes. They wanted her flaws and all, and their patience knew no bounds. They always saw her for exactly who she was, and they never, even for a second, wanted to change her. They wanted her free and happy, always. I really love the pack for seeing Esme's potential and true self and for loving her unconditionally. Finding one man to accept you wholeheartedly is hard, imagine 5, but they did it. This is a story about learning your own worth, your own heart, fighting to accept yourself, and embracing your true self, flaws, and all. It's a story about love, friendship, trust, and faith. It's about feminine rage and feminine strength. It was perfect. 10/10, highly recommend if you are looking for an omegaverse rh with amazing character, amazing found family, and an amazing love story. ... show more

  • Soft and sweet
This was such a sweet read about a low self esteem Esme and the pack of sweethearts that fell in love with her and I am *here* for how wonderful they were. I marked it down one star only because I felt Esme was such a pushover/forgiving when it came to her family's machinations that it was hard to relate to her at times, but overall a fun and feel good read. ... show more

  • A Standout Omegaverse with Heartfelt Romance
Knot Your Damn Omega was exactly the heartfelt escape I needed—a story that wrapped me up in comfort and hope. The journey of Esme, always overshadowed by her famous, beloved twin sister Eva, resonated with me deeply. The book’s premise—being the “Ice Queen” sister no one seems to want, constantly compared to a glamorous sibling—was both poignant and relatable. I felt every bit of Esme’s loneliness and longing for a pack who would love her for who she is, not as a stand-in for her celebrity twin. What truly made this story shine was the beautiful way Esme’s pack embraced her with patience and unconditional love. Their care and support were so touching, it left my heart aching in the best way. The author does a phenomenal job showing that even someone who’s been overlooked and misunderstood can find the acceptance and affection they deserve. I’m usually extremely cautious with omegaverse books, especially when it comes to how omegas are treated. This one, though, is firmly in the “sweet” omegaverse category—full of warmth and tenderness, but also surprisingly steamy. The chemistry between Esme and her pack is off the charts, but what really stands out is how genuine and respectful their connection feels. The pack’s dynamic is perfectly balanced, and each member brings something special to Esme’s life. I also loved seeing the relationship between Esme and her sister. I was worried there might be rivalry or betrayal, but instead, Eva is supportive and loving, helping Esme through her struggles with their mother and the pressures of fame. It was refreshing to see women building each other up instead of being pitted against one another. The author avoids all the usual pitfalls of the genre—consent is always clear, the story isn’t dominated by biology, and the romance develops organically rather than being rushed. Esme’s journey from doubting she could ever be loved to finding a pack who wants her for herself is handled with so much care. The story’s message—that you don’t have to be anyone’s copy, that you deserve to be loved just as you are—was powerful and uplifting. Knot Your Damn Omega has easily become one of my top omegaverse reads. It’s a perfect blend of sweetness, spice, and emotional depth, with a guaranteed HEA that left me smiling. I truly hope the author continues to write more stories like this, because I’ll be first in line to read them. If you’re looking for a reverse harem omegaverse that’s both comforting and passionate, this is one you won’t want to miss. ... show more

  • Good, but . . .
In a perfect world I would probably rate this book with four ⭐️’s, but I can’t. I liked the premise, characters, and tropes, but not enough to get over one annoying flaw. Now I’ll be the first to admit it’s a ridiculous thing to be annoyed at but I’m hardwired differently. 😂 The annoying flaw: I’m convinced the author is morally opposed to using the word “that”. Weird thing, I know. The author overused the word “which”. She used it so much I immediately started clocking it every time I saw the word. To the point I even started to edit it out in my mind every time I read it. You can imagine, eventually, it got old. Ex: “She floundered, looking for something which could combat the obvious.” That’s just one minor example. There are MANY more. Whether or not “which” or “that” is more grammatically correct is irrelevant. Word variation is important, or else the story becomes repetitive and stale. With that being said, it’s a good story and I would consider rereading it but not anytime soon. Also, I recognize my hang up is silly and I own that. Lol. So I do recommend giving it a try. “Which” might not bug you like it bugs me. 😂 ... show more
