I have had Elsie Silver pop up in my feed for MONTHS now and I’m so glad I finally took the plunge. This was a sweet wholesome story that full on made me laugh out loud and yet want to cry in the next few pages. I loved this love story. It was Truly Madly Deeply by LJ Shen style as in a love that bridges a lifetime. Ford and Rosie just clicked. Their chemistry felt genuine and completely believable. Watching them come together was fun and I couldn’t stop cheering for them. As always, Zachery Weber & Vanessa Edin 💀it as narrators!! They kicked butt and took names. I’m never disappointed when they bring a story to life. They made the happy times happier, the stëamy times stëamier (BOY were their some stëamy times)!!! Just all around emotion to the story, taking it to that next level. All in all I will definitely be reading more books by this new to me author and continue the journey with the secondary characters in this book as they get their own stories. ... show more

Having just devoured the entire Chestnut Springs series (Cade and Theo 😍😍😍😍) I was admittedly a little hesitant about starting the Rose Hill books. But after falling in love with Willa and Cade’s story - and who am I kidding - we all love Willa Grant(!!) I was hopeful that her brother’s story wouldn’t disappoint. And disappoint it DID NOT!!! Ford Grant could be related to Theo Silva in the likes of his deeply kind soul and head over heels love for his girl. He know how he feels and is so far gone for her 😍. He’s also so pure hearted, sweet, and SO considerate and also doesn’t have that dark brooding complicated trope about him (sorry to Jasper and Beau but sometimes the complicated damaged guy is exhausting). But he’s also all man. He checks all the boxes. To sum it up, Ford is the kind of guy I would fall for IRL and we love that. Rosie is beautiful, brilliant, ambitious, and has an equally beautiful soul and spirit about her. Ford has been pining for her since they were teenagers and it’s the sweetest love story. I love the sarcastic banter and wit exchanged between these two. As far as spice goes… 🥵🥵🥵🥵 it’s absolutely the type that will make you blush and give you butterflies. Nothing weird or awkward, just good old fashion spicy spice with a nice slow burn. Did not disappoint!! Elsie Silver - love you girl! The best part of this book is Ford. Hands down. No question. And to be honest, he deserves someone better than Rosie. I get that she’s supposed to be the whirlwind of a woman who can stand on her own two feet and doesn’t need a man telling her what to do. But, am I allowed to say that she just got annoying after a while? The reason for the high-ish rating considering my disdain for the main character is the rest of the characters. I ended up loving Cora, and the relationship that she forged with Ford was a major selling point for me. Her situation was utterly crappy, and her sullen demeanor reflected that in conjunction with teenage angst very well. I loved how they bonded over a mutual love of music, and his approach to letting her know that he cared without being creepy or too overzealous. I also liked Ford’s parents. His father is a famous musician, so he grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth. However, Cora comes to be because his father wants him to make his own way in the world. I haven’t ever read a book that took this approach, and it was a cool twist of fate. Wes adds some comedy to the plot as Rosie’s older brother, and I am intrigued by his story in book 2. All in all, this is a very easy read with enough spice to keep you from skipping to the end. It just wasn’t my favorite. ... show more
