Description

This edition of Wild Love comes with the deluxe edition mountain spine that lines up with the rest of the seriesShe's been driving him wild for years. The good kind of wild. The bad kind of wild. But mostly, the kind of wild that comes with wanting your best friend's little sister and knowing you can't have her.Forbes may have labeled Ford Grant the World's Hottest Billionaire, but all he cares about is escaping the press and opening a recording studio in gorgeous small town Rose Hill. Something that comes to a screeching halt when he ends up face-to-face with a young girl who claims he's her biological father. Now, he spends his days balancing business with parenting a sullen twelve-year-old, all while trying desperately to keep his hands the hell off his best friend's sister, Rosie Belmont. After living in the city, Rosie came blasting back into town like a storm. Beautiful, messy, and chaotic. And one wide-eyed, desperate plea for a job is all it takes for Ford to hire her. He vows to keep her at arm's length. Tries to stick to scowls and grumpy one-liners. But with her, verbal sparring is a type of foreplay―friction that soon turns to blistering heat.Ford knows damn well he shouldn't cross this line. But shouldn't and can't are two very different things. And the only thing he truly can't do is resist her. Read more

  • A fabulous start to a fun and steamy new series
4.5★ Named World’s Hottest Billionaire by Forbes Magazine, Ford Grant wants the exact opposite of what his new title brings. Escaping the limelight, he heads back to his small town of Rose Hill to bring his dream to fruition, and open a small recording studio. His plans go awry when a young girl shows up claiming to be his daughter, as his long held unrequited crush, who just so happens to be his best friend’s sister, arrives back in town. Rosie Belmont, fresh off a disastrous job situation, pleas with Ford to give her a job - any job. But as office banter leads to foreplay, these two battle their hearts, and each other, in their attempts to prevent crossing the line. “All it took was one look - one heartbeat - and I was eighteen all over again.” As it is with every start to a new series, this book is slow burn in nature and feels more character driven than later books in a series. And that’s for good reason. Having to establish a new locale, community of characters, family ties, etc. means there is more information needed. Starting a new series is often intimidating, but the author makes it easy to follow, while also laying the groundwork needed to create a blueprint the series can follow. That said, I enjoyed the heck out of this book. Rosie and Ford are really the stars of the show here. When I think of a great romance or rom-com, I think banter. And banter there is a plenty! I absolutely loved the use of corporate emails to convey their snarkiest banter, all in proper email structure. Their juxtapositions added such depth to their story as we watched them butt heads initially, only to work it out in their messy, chaotic way that these two did best. Think Paint on Lumber (IYKYK). Of course, I am always a sucker for a cinnamon roll hero, or better yet, a stern brunch daddy which Ford definitely is. I thought the use of the Billionaire trope, sans alpha energy, was very unique and made Ford stand out from your typical romance mmc. As for Rosie, it was hard not to be utterly charmed by her take-the-bull by the horns attitude. I loved the way these two somehow brought out the best in each other, even while bringing out the worst in each other. And the steam? Well, it’s steamy, but in a way that even those who don’t love quite as much steam can still enjoy. Read if you like: •brother’s best friend •billionaire romance •age gap •unrequited love •single parent •workplace romance •email banter •cameos from chestnut springs characters If you are a fan of small town, swoony, steamy romance with a whole lot of heart, this is one you will want to have on your radar…if you don’t already, because who are we kidding - this is an Elsie Silver book after all. ... show more

  • Small-Town Charm, Laughs, and a Whole Lot of Billionaire Fantasy
Format: Kindle
Wild Love was such a fun, easy romance to get lost in. It had me laughing out loud more than once, and the banter between the characters kept the story moving. It was one of those books that didn’t take itself too seriously, which made it a great palate cleanser. The spice was really well done too. Hot without completely taking over the story. It felt like the romance and chemistry built naturally, which I always appreciate. My only running joke is… why do romance novels always have to revolve around a ridiculously rich, ridiculously hot man? 😂 Can I get a romance where the guy has a normal 9-to-5 and is still irresistible? Apparently billionaires are the new standard. The audiobook was fantastic. Zachary Webber and Vanessa Edwin brought Ford and Rosie to life perfectly, and their delivery made the humor and chemistry even better. • such a good read!
Format: Kindle
Wild Love was such a cute read. I absolutely loved it! Rosalie was such a relatable character, and who doesn’t love a man with a tough exterior but a soft heart? Ford was everything. One of my favorite parts of this book was the humor. There were so many moments that genuinely had me laughing out loud, which made it such a fun read from beginning to end. And I cannot forget about West and Cora. Their dynamic was so entertaining, and now I am so curious to see who West ends up with in the next book. Overall, this was such a fun, heartwarming romance and an easy 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️📖 ... show more

  • cute, but not my favorite
Format: Kindle
I really struggled to read this book. I loved Willa’s character in her book, and so I was originally excited to read this book. Maybe it’s just me and the fact I’m not the biggest fan of friends-to-lovers. I’m not sure. I liked Rosie’s character and I liked Ford, but I wasn’t gripping onto this book. Genuinely, I just couldn’t wait to finish it to get to the next book. I was more excited about West than anything lol ... show more

  • The yearning and chemistry were so good
Format: Kindle
4.5 stars rounded to 5 stars for Amazon Ford and Rosie’s history completely sold me on this romance. He’s her older brother’s best friend, they’ve known each other since childhood, and that history adds so much tension to Ford quietly wanting someone he thinks he probably shouldn’t. Rosie is feisty, funny, and independent, while Ford is a reserved, surprisingly understated billionaire who shows how much he cares through his actions. I also enjoyed the unexpected guardianship storyline and the additional character development it brought to Ford. The chemistry and banter are excellent, and this is definitely a spicy romance once all that tension finally pays off. I primarily listened to the audiobook, and Zachary Webber and Vanessa Edwin were fantastic. Their dual narration elevated the chemistry, humor, emotional moments, and spice and made this an easy 5/5 audiobook experience for me. A great choice for readers who enjoy brother’s-best-friend romance, childhood history, lots of yearning, strong banter, and a protective MMC who quietly shows up for the people he loves. ... show more

  • Ford.Grant. That is all
Format: Kindle
Umm ok so this was literally the most PERFECT thing. This book is special. These characters are special and beautiful, and so wonderful. So precious. I love them all. I love this book. I'm blown away. You know those rare books that enchant you from the very first sentence, the ones that grab your heart and don’t let it go? THIS. This is one of those books. I adore this book with my entire heart. It was so utterly perfect in all the best and right ways. I honestly just wish I could go back and read this again for the first time because it was SO GOOD. I devoured this in two days and was just absolutely giddy while reading about Ford and Rosie’s love story. I swear, Elsie Silver wrote my love language with these two. The sarcastic and witty exchanges between them is what I absolutely loved and couldn’t get enough of. Their attraction towards one another and the fact they were so clearly head over heels in love was undeniable and the tension between the two of them was so palpable that it gave me all the feels. My heart absolutely ached for these two, even when I was literally laughing out loud over their banter. And boy, the way they loved each other just swept me off my feet in my most favourite way. I don’t know what my favourite part of this story was. There isn’t just one. There’s many. It’s all of it. There’s so much to it that if I was to really dive into it, I’d come out with an essay. All of that to say, I loved it. I really, really loved this story. Soul level and all the good stuff. I cannot say anything bad about this book. It’s up there as one of my all-time favourites and I love it with every fibre of my being. A million hats off to Elsie Silver for this one, because I know this is a story I’ll be thinking about for a long time. Elsie Silver can truly do no wrong. She is the blueprint, and I will read her books forever. ... show more
