I have to apologize to the friends that I sent video updates to cause those poor souls probably were so concerned about my mental wellbeing. I was left completely crippled from the rollercoaster of feelings. The only words that I’ve found that accurately describe this book to me are “Devastatingly beautiful”. Every chapter felt like a punch to the gut, and I couldn't help but ride the wave of their passion, heartache, and longing. If you've ever chased a love you can't write catch, this book will resonate. A perfect happy ending, with a telling from both sides that makes you feel warm and fuzzy in the end. A feel good, even if you want to scream a few times throughout. I'm the end, the ultimate HEA.

By far the most amazing book I've read in years. It captivated me, from the characters, to the dilemmas, to the passion & love. EVERYTHING. This book will MAKE you feel even when you CAN'T. It tore me down, rubbed me raw, made me cry & yell, it made me so happy & warm, it made me laugh, it made me hurt. IT MADE ME FEEL. They always say the best books are those that can really make you feel like you're right there, a part of it. This book is that & so much more. It's such a beautifully, disasterous piece, ughh!! Jamie (Whiskey) & B (Surfer Girl), they're a mess!! They're such a beautiful mess, they're relationship is not perfect or even good half the time. It's so ugly and heartbreaking, but the storm always comes before the sunshine. So take a chance on it. P.s: Only great writers have the power to really move you through their works. Throughout A Love Letter to Whiskey, you will find many raw emotions surrounding the main characters. What will be the outcome of their powerful connection, as told from both perspectives? For me, this was both a challenging and enjoyable read. We all have that one person we love passionately. However, we may or may not ever have them, no matter how much we cherish them and how addicted we are to their touch. I think that's what makes this book so compelling and relatable. Despite the gut-wrenching pain of relationships, the reader cannot ignore the poignant moments and intense connection between B and Jamie. Whether in fiction or in real life, A Love Letter to Whiskey remains an unforgettable reminder of love's power. It made me feel raw, painful, beautiful, agonized, and vulnerable. After reading Kandi Steiner's words, I realized that love and memories always touch us when we least expect them. I listened to the audiobook while reading the book on my Kindle. I highly recommend this book/audiobook to anyone looking for an emotional journey. It's a story that will stay with you long after you've finished it.
