I really enjoyed this Audible Original! Cleverly written by A. J. Pine (and I love that his last name is Pine!) and narrated by Andi Arndt and Sean Masters, the story came to life! I needed something in between two other Christmas books, and this tied me over quite well! Gemma and her workplace nemesis, Theo, go on a work-related road trip and begin learning about each other. On their way to his hometown, he is delivering a vehicle and she desperately needs to find and retrieve a very inappropriate Christmas gift sent to the wrong person - her boss! Their boss is his aunt, who has an identical twin, his mom. Confused? Come on, keep up why don't you? Just kidding. I struggled myself a few times. This was so fun! It made me laugh out loud. Lola was such a hoot. Eleanor at the end of the book was so unexpected. Gemma was so funny and Theo was so smitten. Tinsel was once again the place that makes me excited for Christmas. I really have enjoyed all of the audios I've listened to by A.J. Pine!

A feel good xmas sweet and short story. Gets you to your "tis the season mood". Narration is good. Story became a little boring at times but I just bumped up the speed to x1.25 and it helped it move along. Overall enjoyed the free read.

Pine's novel is built around a woman's desperate effort to recover the present she mistakenly gave her boss. It was supposed to be a gag gift for a friend, but somehow the boxes got mixed up and a very inappropriate gift ends up with the boss' name on it. Fearing that she will be fired if it is opened, the heroine recruits the help of the story’s love interest. She's obviously attracted to him and pretending she's not; while he also has a secret crush on her. There really isn't a lot of sense in this story, but it is a lot of fun and builds nicely to the necessary Christmas happily ever after. ... show more
