  • Close battle but Secrid won!!
Size: 14mm slim Color: Vintage Black
The media could not be loaded. It’s all good, more options while maintaining the slim minimal look, HOWEVER my fault for not selecting the product with the button strap!!! If you plan on using the area for bills you definitely need the one with the strap! If I was a YouTuber I would definitely put this up for a review in comparison with the Esketer one. I’ve had that for about 7months and I like it however the one I had didn’t have the fold out just the money strap and drivers license slot. It worked but I needed a couple more spots for insurance cards and IDs...technically not a fair battle because Esketer has the Parliment that stacks exactly up to the Secrid, not sure if the Parliament would win but it’s a fair fight. ... show more

  • I love my Secrid!
Size: 14mm slim Color: Crisple Black Gold
I'm so proud of this new wallet, I want to pull it out at any opportunity. I've been youtubing and amazoning for a new wallet for months trying to decide. The rave on Secrid's quality is far and wide and it's one of the few compact wallets that doesn't use a money clip or elastic strap for bills. I have to be able to carry some cash. I actually have had 12 bills in this wallet without issue (I try to keep less most of the time). I have to admit, not wanting to have the bulk of my previous trifold I cut back on what I put in a wallet. So four cards in the case (debit, Visa, Amex, M/C). I know it will hold more but seriously, how many credit cards do I really need to carry? I can visibly see there's more room in the metal case, but I choose to minimize. In the card pockets I have my license, my healthcare card, and a computer access card. I've always had a separate card wallet for travel with all the hotel, rental, and airline membership cards along with passport. I'm really tickled about this Secrid. It's good looking, great quality, and holds what I need. I've seen reviews complaining about the leather, but thin leather is part of the trick to keeping it thin overall. Not at all cheap leather, but it's cut thin to avoid adding bulk. If you wanted a thick leather wallet, you probably shouldn't be looking for "slim wallets". One thing that's been happening I didn't expect, nearly anyone who sees it wants to know if the cards fall out. I can absolutely attest that the cards do not fall out. I've repeatedly demonstrated it by shaking is upside down with the cards extended even. ... show more

  • Flimsy leather!
Size: 14mm slim Color: Vintage Black
The media could not be loaded. I can not believe the poor quality for the price! The leather feels like loose toilet paper. Flimsy. I'll give two stars because the card holder is neat. But I'm returning because I just can't get past the horrible leather. Wouldn't keep even if it were $10

  • Great to hold plastic credit cards
Size: 14mm slim Color: Vintage Black
I am on my third Secrid Wallet. The first two were fine, but didn't work for me; the snap version would get caught in my pocket as I pulled it out. The suede version was too grippy in my front pants pockets and would pull my pocket liner out with it. So the sleek simple black leather one works best for me. Six cards in the main slot. Two cards in each of the additional interior pockets. You can jam a third card in each of the interior pockets, but it makes it difficult to get them out. Also, any more than 10 paper bills and your wallet may not lay flat. My only real gripe with any of the Secrid wallets is you shouldn't put metal cards in the main slot as they can slip out. I have never had an issue with plastic credit cards. But with credit card companies that issue metal cards, they are just too heavy to stay put with any quick movement. You can put them in the interior pockets, but that defeats the easy access, which is such a great feature of the wallet. Other than that, I love it. ... show more

  • but I really like this wallet
Size: 14mm slim Color: Vintage Black
I have used it for just 2 weeks, but I really like this wallet. I used to use leather tri-folds as I like their compact size. I did not mind the thickness of trifolds, but I always thought bifolds were too wide. Tips: Do not prefold bills, use like trifold. Put embossed in face-to-face to fit 4 embossed cards in Secrid. Reasons why I found the Secrid Slim Wallet to work well for me. 1. It is thinner than my trifold when my trifold was at its thinnest. The Secrid Slim is not a thin wallet, even with the entire contents of my trifold, the Secrid is thinner than my trifold. 2. I use the "bill-holder" like a trifold. I did not prefold my bills. This makes the Slim thinner AND allows easy access to the cash by just opening the top flap and pulling out the bills I want. Just don't prefold your bills. I have had 10 bills held this way and the wallet was still mostly flat. 5-7 bills and the wallet is "flat". The bills are still "invisible" from the outside. 3. I have all of my everyday carry cards with me. In the Secrid, I have 4 embossed cards with their numbers facing each other in pairs. I also have 2 flat cards for a total of 6 cards inside the Secrid. I have had no issues with the mechanism, and all of the cards are firmly held in place. I have 4 flat cards in one leather pocket and 2 flat cards in the other. That is 12 cards already and I can fit another 2 if needed. 4. I do not even have to open my wallet to get access to the most used items, the cards. ... show more

  • Worth the money, super convenient
Size: 14mm slim Color: Vintage Black
this is the second one I have. The first I've had for 4 years. The leather and the metal mechanism are both very sturdy, but the adhesive that holds the metal to the leather gave way after 4 years. I glued it back on with epoxy, so it's never coming off again, but I needed a second one anyway, since the metal part only holds six cards. There's room for more in pockets in the leather, but they can be a little cumbersome to take out. The metal mechanism allows you to pull out exactly the card you need in a split second, and I have more than 6 cards that I need to be able to access that quickly, so a second one was in order. They're small enough for two to fit in almost any pocket. They're not cheap, but neither are they too expensive, and well worth the money for the quality and convenience you're getting. ... show more
