I am a knife guy, steal is the deal. The workmanship and grind is very good to excellent. Most importantly, the X50Cr15, is a high carbon knife that holds the edge longer and sharpness to a higher level. Higher the carbon, higher propensity to rust. HARDNESS is excellent as well. For $39???...Grab it!! Hand wash and dry immediately...if rust appears, I believe white vinegar will do the trick. And yes, higher the carbon, the more brittle the knife. Some woman said m she broke her steak knife....what kind of meat is she cutting 😅 Thus, do not open paint cans with these knives and you should be fine. ... show more
