I was pleasantly surprised with this case. I got it as a gift for my dad who collects knives. Price is good. Real glass. Grooves in shelves help hold knives upright. Nice to be able to lock. Overall I’m very happy with it and so is he.

Case works well. Nicely lined with fuzzy material on back, which allows narrow strips of velcro to be used to retain those knives displayed with blades open. One caveat: not all shelves are removable, only (from bottom) 1st, 3rd, and 5th. Will probably purchase another as my collection grows.

    • The lock does not work
The case itself is pretty decent...but... the lock does not work. It mentions you are not turning the key hard enough if it does not click. I have turned it hard enough to bend the key - no click. I wanted the lock to help keep grandkids out of it. Not sure what to do now....?

The cases sent from Maple display DO NOT HAVE GLASS DOOR! Advertised as glass .. but cheap plastic on door. Amazon gives little support just offers refund. False advertising.
