I have been wanting to learn to play the ukulele for a long time. I have purchased other ukuleles in the past that I ended up returning because the quality was terrible. This time around, I did a lot of research trying to find the best ukulele and online deal overall. This is the best deal BY FAR — while a little pricier than other options, you absolutely get what you pay for. When first opening the package, please know that all of the products in this bundle are contained inside of the gig bag with the ukulele. When I first opened it, I thought I had only been sent the instrument, nothing else. Don’t worry — it’s all in there! This ukulele is adorable, durable, and has high quality sound. Some ukulele strings I’ve encountered easily go out of tune or need to be tuned frequently. However, this ukulele is easy to tune (the tuner works like a CHARM) and stays in tune for a long time! The strap is secure, strong, and easily adjustable. The gig bag is well-made, has multiple straps so you can carry it in several ways, and includes a small little front pouch where you can easily store your tuner and extra strings (included!) The little starter guide included in this package is very informative and easy to follow — great for true beginners! While some ukuleles are more toys than instruments, this ukulele is appropriate for jamming out at home, parties, and in music groups/at gigs (I recently joined a ukulele band and will use this uke for concerts!) This ukulele package is well worth spending a little extra cash — once you get it, you won’t want to put it down!!

The media could not be loaded. Amazing value. Best bang for your buck. This uke comes with everything you need. With all the incredible reviews, I thought it was too good to be true, but for the price was willing to give it a go. Was really happy with my Makala and was going to get another, but then the Kmise caught my eye. So glad I did...I’m a Kmise convert. It’s my new fav uke. Pros: Gorgeous brown color and pretty detail work—Inlaid brand name at the top and scroll work around the sound hole. I’ve had the uke for 2 weeks...holds a tune nicely. Nice little tuner comes with it. Craftsmanship is amazing. Frets are smooth. Gears are covered yet see through. Mahogany gives it a nice rich sound, clearer, louder, and fuller than my Makala shark. Has the strap buttons already on the uke and comes with a cute strap—nice feature which isn’t included on others at this price point. Extra set of strings included Padded gig bag instead of just a thin travel bag. Nice chord chart and instruction booklet Price! At $50...you can’t beat this uke kit. Cons: There’s not much I don’t love about this uke. The one thing I noticed that is slightly irritating (But definitely NOT a deal-breaker), is that my arm rubs the rough bridge and string knots when I strum. My husband has been playing it as well and has not had this problem. We hold the uke differently, so maybe you won’t have this problem.

I loved this product! It stays more in tune than I thought it would and the gig bag is high quality. My reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was because my arm has been getting bruised and almost cut up when trying to rest my arm on the edge to strum. Granted, I've never played the uke before this and I might be holding it wrong. Either way it's uncomfortable after 20-30 minutes of play.

Let me start off by saying that this is a great ukulele. I love the color and the tone is warm and bright. I like that there are 2 strap pegs so it gives you options to see where you like the placement of the strap. I also like that you can see the tuneing gears. The gears themselves are metal. The frets are really nice, i can feel them but I don't get caught on them. I was impressed by how well the strings stayed in tune. I understand that new strings have to stretch but once I tuned the ukulele it stayed in tune for the rest of my practice session. This kit comes with a tuner, batteries, strap, extra strings and a bag. All in all I feel that this is a great beginner or traveling ukulele. I went into this purchase with a sceptical mind but I am so glad that I got this ukulele. It's great quality and while it might not give professional sound quality, its not a toy nor does it sound like one. This is definitely for someone who is interested in playing ukulele and getting a feel for the instrument without the financial investment. I was also suprised by the tuner, I'm used to the old brick style so this was a new experience and it was awesome. Its Very clear when the string is out of tune and accurate when compared to my old one. 10/10 would buy again.

I'm not sure I could have found a better deal for a beginner's ukulele anywhere on Amazon. The bundle includes the ukulele, a strap, an electronic tuner, a quick-start book with basic information, a chord chart, and a bag with straps - it is in fact everything you need to get started, and it's a lovely instrument as well! The dark wood is beautiful. The strings are nylon, so be prepared to stretch them and tune pretty aggressively for the first month or so, but I personally love the sound and delicate feeling of it. The ring around the sound hole is etching, which adds an elegant touch. Certainly the strap is a bit gaudy, but it totally works, and it's of a great quality! Don't expect TOO much from the quick start guide - it's not a lesson book, but it does have simple and easy to understand information on a ukulele's anatomy, how to play and read chords, and a few common songs. Really, the best way to learn any instrument is to just dive into it, I think, so it's an excellent springboard for doing just that. I've had my new friend for four days now, and I've grown exceedingly attached. It's certainly not of the quality you'd get for paying $100 or more, but for what it is, I adore it. Not a dollar is regretted!
