    • Very nice lamp! Glad I bought it!
I have been using this lamp for a couple of months now, and it really is very good! For the first five or six hours of the evening it is very bright! Of course by the morning it’s dim but that’s to be expected from all of these rechargeable LED lights. But it looks nice, it’s easy to install and for most of the evening it gives a nice, perfect light! ... show more

    • Nice and bright all night long (Update)
I've had this less than a month and it works great. The light is still bright when I wake up in the morning (5:00). I like that I don't have to remember to turn it on or off. Update: Since my first purchase I have bought 3 more. At dusk they are very bright but after about 5 hours they are very dim even when placed in full sun all day. I still would recommend this lamp but don't expect the light to be bright all night long. ... show more

    • Better performance than expected
KMC Lighting ST4618Q-A Solar Lamp: The lamp has now been in use for over a year - winter and summer. When the daytime has been dark, the lamp starts to dim before dawn. However, on a "normal" day the lamp stays bright all night long. This is particularly great because the solar cells are horizontal, which is not the optimum orientation. On the other hand, one does not have to fiddle with orientation to have this lamp work very well. Before installing the lamp, I charged the batteries so that the lamp was able to start full of "fuel." Great to have a bright lamp all night long. ... show more

    • Rechargeable AA batteries very convenient
Fits perfectly on a 3 inch post. Very bright for the first couple of hours during winter near Chicago, then dims, but stays on the entire night. Shines light brightly on the ground from a 6 foot post, until it dims. It can still be seen well even when dim, it just doesn't cast light brightly around its perimeter on the ground. I like the fact that it has replaceable AA batteries instead of a battery pack that you have to order in order to replace. I can just run out to the store and get them any time instead of ordering and waiting at least a couple of days. This point was the selling point for me. There are few lights like this on Amazon or anywhere that come with replaceable AA batteries anymore. Yes, the big battery packs that the other lights come with will last longer, but I like the comfort of knowing that when it's time to replace the batteries I can do it in minutes, not days like with most of the other lights. Physically has held up well for the two months I've had this. ... show more

    • Our easiest home project with fantastic results
We retro fitted this onto the old base of a very old gas light that hadn't been operational for likely 30 years or more. Was so easy to do and we comment on it almost every time we drive in at night to see the light shining. It shines fully throughout the entire night from the solar charge.

    • Nice post light.
The light was brighter than I expected. At this time of the year the sun is up about 18 hours a day and the light is still glowing this morning at 7am even through it was cloudy and raining. There is one issue and that is it collects water on the solar panel. 7/5/22

    • Excellent Replacement for 120V lamp Post Fixtures
After the wiring for our 120V lamp posts deteriorated, we were facing a very expensive repair bill to get them working again. We got these instead and are very happy with them. They were easy to install and are surprisingly bright. The battery holds a charge that can get through a couple of days of cloudy conditions or snow-covered solar panels. Highly recommended. ... show more
