From the moment it arrived, the installation was straightforward. The rail is sturdy and well-constructed, which gave me immediate confidence that my mom has a safe edge to hold onto. The adjustable height and fit for different bed sizes meant we didn’t have to buy a completely new bed or struggle with mismatched hardware. It fits her full size without any awkward gaps. Having the motion light built into the setup is a brilliant added bonus. During her nighttime bathroom trips, the subtle light means I don’t have to worry that she cant find the light to get up in the middle of the night.. Take a minute to test the rail’s position and make sure it doesn’t interfere with her comfort when your family member lies on her side. I had to adjust it a little because she is a side sleeper. Also, remind them of the light - it does turn on with very little prompting so it might surprise someone who may have some memory recall issues. In short: if you’re caring for a loved one who could use a little extra reassurance when getting in and out of bed, this bed rail is a wise investment. Works as intended, to keep mom from pushing the bolster off the bed and returning to her back so I can keep her on her side and stop potential bed sores from developing. This is a very good bed rail. I didn't expect much at that low price, but I am impressed! The unit snaps together and is very secure once your weight is in the bed. While it is not large, it is sufficient to keep someone from rolling out of bed.

I bought this bedrail for my 94 year old grandma who is now sleeping in a hospital bed. I dropped it off so my aunt could put it together and install it. I usually do these types of things so I was worried it would be difficult and confusing for her. The bedrail came with clear and easy instructions which made it easy for my aunt to put together and install. The motion light works great for my grandma and she really likes the storage bag. I am happy it fit the hospital bed and now I can rest easy knowing she won't fall out of bed. I would reccomend this for anyone looking for an easy installation bed rail.

The light that came with mine did not match instruction manual so was not able to make it work right, but would still buy again as I’m happy with the bar.

As a mechanical stop rail to keep you from falling off the bed it is ok. I had to duct tape the cross pieces to the support slats otherwise it would fall through, but with that in place it works fine. But it comes with electric switches, a USB to USC cable and a light (see pic) and I have no clue how they work. There is no description in the package. So I ignored these parts.
