Tremendous sound quality.
Pattern: Speaker
We first installed six of these speakers in a kitchen remodeling project about ten years ago. We have been very pleased with the sound quality and their appearance. Great value for the money. Extremely easy to connect and install. We recently purchased these additional speakers as a gift to our son's family for their family room. They were thrilled. Highly recommend.

Excellent Sound System for lower budgets
Pattern: Speaker
These Klipsch in ceiling speakers are perfect for my basement setup. The sound is clear, powerful, and fills the room nicely without taking up any floor space. Installation was straightforward, and the design blends easily into the ceiling. Great sound quality and an excellent choice for a clean, immersive basement audio system.

Impressive sound.
Pattern: Speaker
I bought 2 of them and replaced them with my JBLs. I have to say I’m very impressed. Sound quality is great. Super nice bass and super nice tweeter. They look great also without the cover. Installation was under 2 minutes since I had the holes already cut out.

Now my theater room sounds like it should!
Pattern: Speaker
These are far and away better than my upward-firing speakers. Such a major improvement. Go in-ceiling if at all possible.

Great Speakers
Pattern: Speaker
Replaced wall hanging Klipsch RS 3 II speakers with these recessed speakers. Used the Klipsch metal containers (in attic) for added protection and sound enclosure. These are excellent quality. They look nice and have adjustable woofer and tweeter. Installation was a snap and they work with the K tower speakers. Size is perfect and magnetic surface mount grill looks high end.

Worth the money
Pattern: Speaker
Incredible. I bought these to replace the cheap Pyle in ceiling speakers I bought. I had to cut the hole a tiny bit bigger, the template is about an 8in hole. But the speaker sounds amazing! The 15° tilt makes a world of difference and the tweeter in the middle also pivots so it's about a 30° tilt on the tweeter. The previous ones I had sounded cheap and only fired downwards so sitting between them I could barely hear them now I have these pointed at the back walls and it actually sounds like surround sound again. They reach a high volume with no distortion in the base sounds great. Pricey but worth it.

Better than I gave it credit for
Pattern: Speaker
New review: I have to be honest, I initially hated these speakers and the "Klipsch sound" but have really come around to them and feel I was being too harsh. In my actual setup with four in my basement providing a stereo image and generally listening at a medium volume I really enjoy listening to them and they are fantastic for background music with my spotify connect + arylic streaming + fosi audio amp setup. I have tried other brands like Monitor Audio which I do like, but I'm noticing some subtle distortion with my recent Monitor Audios at higher volumes which is making me appreciate these Klipsch ones more. I still think the Klipsch sound is way too treble heavy so toggling it down on the provided treble switch is a must, but it does make for good quiet background audio that is crisp even for poorly treated spaces, so there's some merit to it. Old review: I ordered four of these for a basement finishing project. I tested a few of them right away and felt a bit disappointed in the sound quality which was very harsh on the treble and just lacking balance and fullness. I don't know how to describe it other than being very tinny and unsatisfying. After hanging them up they didn't get any better. I set all the speakers to -3 treble which did help a bit, I think cheap Klipsch speakers are set to have way too high treble which people identify as "the Klipsch sound". I also bought five of their in-wall speakers (R-5650-W's and one R-5502-W II for the center) and they all have this same sound profile. In contrast, I bought two Monitor Audio CS160's for another room and they were a similar price but much nicer sound and build quality. I think I'm going to replace these with another brand, possibly Monitor Audio, over time as I'm really not happy with the sound, but they work fine for now.

Great speakers, great price
Pattern: Speaker
Was adding 4 ceiling speakers for Dolby atmos and my system was already using Klipsch speakers. You have a choice of these or the bigger 8”. I have a smaller room with low ceilings so chose these. Price was good. Easy install. Speakers are directional and can be angled. Magnetic covers are nice. Sound is very good. Using a Marantz 7055 to power them. 140 watts per channel. These are just for Dolby Atmos. If I was using them for stereo sound full time, or for music I would maybe go with the bigger 8”. I feel ceiling speakers are for very specific use. They can’t be compared to a large floor standing tower speaker.
