I got this for my garage as I wanted a few more outlets. This strip has multiple mounting options. I first used the magnets on my metal cabinet (which are very strong and hold very well). I decided to mount it on the wall with the pre drilled holes. At first, the light was annoying as it is automatically set to be motion detected - I wanted to disable that. The instruction guide shows how to do that. The power cord is thick and a good length - this is a bit in the way for how I have it set up - but it is a good thing for this type of power strip. While expensive, it is a trusted brand, it has plenty of well spaced outlets, USB ports, and a light that make it ideal and helpful for any workspace! ... show more

Klein is making some great stuff and always have been on the high end with quality tools for telecom, data world... great that they are branching out. Not sure I have ever owned a bad Klein tool. The magnets on this are strong! I have it mounted on the side of my tool box, and have no problem removing plugs and having the unit slide around. The built in LEDs are crazy bright! Needs a button to dim them on the next model, the USB ports are great... they need more USB C though on the next one. Good stuff, much much better than the other garbage that may burn down your house. I will buy another for my office soon. ... show more

This little box is simply amazing; its quite strong magnets stick to the metal columns in my basement, and I can easily plug in a few cords to power my cameras and lights in my basement YouTube studio. So many good features and thoughtful design points in this power strip. I'm currently staring at the price tag and grimacing while I buy 2 more, because it's just that good and I cant find anything else like it on Amazon or even AliExpress. Super solid construction, I suspect it could even pass as IP54 water/dust-resistant even though it's not officially rated for that. The magnets are incredibly powerful, it often requires 2 hands to pull it off metal surfaces. The light is powerful and ended up being more useful than I was expecting, and the 45w USB-C port always reliably delivered 45w to everything I plugged into it, even some devices that are finnicky about only accepting certain chargers. The outlets grip plugs so strongly that nothing fell off even when I stuck it upside-down on my van's metal roof while off-roading. I'd pay $80 if they made a pro version with 6 more outlets (ideally in other orientations along the sides and top like the Nikleb or POWSAF strips have), 1x more USB-A port, and 1x more USB-C port with >=65w PD output. ... show more
