If you need a pair of black shoes for a wedding or other event, these will do. I don’t anticipate wearing them often, and I doubt they’d hold up for extended wear. But they’re comfortable and look good, so they’ll suit my needs for those occasional events.

TL;DR: Sturdy, nicely-formed, formal shoes that I would recommend (especially at their price) I originally purchased these shoes for a play I was in. While they are a bit dense, I am light on my feet so they don't sound too stompy. However, if you aren't careful they can make you sound heavy-footed, so just keep that in mind. The lacing is different from what I am used to, but most formal shoes are laced strangely, so no points off for that. I have grown used to loosening the laces to take the shoes off and tightening them once the shoes are on. I like to form of them. Many formal wear shoes look very pointy at the toes but these have a refined round look. They have formed a slight crease but nothing terribly noticeable. I now use these shoes for all my formal events and they work nicely and go with all of my suits. They are generally comfortable for up to 2 hours but after that my feet do grow weary if I have been standing a lot (not necessarily the shoes' fault). I've gotten several compliments on them and I would recommend these to anyone looking for study but affordable formal shoes.

I paid A LOT of money for a gorgeous tux and I wanted nice shoes to go with it but thought $300 for shiny tux shoes at SuitSupply was ridiculous so I ordered these thinking they were a long shot..man was I happily surprised! Not only did they look great, just as good as the $300 ones, but they fit well too because they have a wider toe box (as opposed to pointy like many) and I have very wide feet. I almost never write reviews but because I'm so thankful for my positive experience with these. I want to play it forward to help this company & perhaps someone else who wants a great looking be inexpensive shiny dress shoe option!

These in my opinion are a good shoe for the price and were comfortable also I don’t were dress shoes that much so I’m no shoe expert but didn’t want to pay to much for a new pair of shoes so these shoes worked good for me
