It feels sturdy but one arm is grey plastic the other is chrome plastic. Easy to open and put over can lid. At first, it kept spinning until I leaned it more towards the can, then it was a smooth operation. Much better than other manual can openers I’ve had in the past.

These are better than the Kitchen Aid ones we got from Walmart, and they are ok. However, you have to squeeze a lot harder on the handles of theses to keep it turning the can than what our old can opener required.
