This is a must have for your stand mixer! It keeps the flour from going up everywhere in the air. I love the chute which makes it easy to add ingredients. I also like how it snaps onto the bowl.

    • Not for bowl lift
This fit my Kitchenaid 5 qt bowl, but this is designed to fit the tilt head style and I didn't catch that prior to ordering so I had to return it as I have the bowl lift style. I like the silicone grips and it seems well made. I ordered another just like this to fit the model of my mixer.

    • Does not fix bowl
We have 2 bowl-lift 5qt mixers/bowls, and this shield is too big for both of them. It is so wide there is almost an inch overhang around the edges of our bowl, so it was a waste of money for us. Frustrating since the box states it should fit our mixers.
