  • Sturdy, easy to use food processor
Color: Onyx Black Style: 7 Cup Food Processor Pattern Name: Processor
I have only used this KitchenAid food processor for two things so far: grating carrots and shopping broccoli for soup. Wow! it was fun to use the pusher for the carrots and watch them spin into shreds so fast and effortlessly. I wanted the broccoli very fine for broccoli cheddar soup, and this food processor did a great job. A couple of times the half frozen florettes landed in the already chopped broccoli, and I needed to open the lid and put them in again, which was simple. The processor is easy to use and easy to clean. I am very happy with it. ... show more

  • A++++++++
Color: Onyx Black Style: 7 Cup Food Processor Pattern Name: Processor
I cannot give this machine enough plusses. It is small ( not too small) but awfully mighty!!! The Quality is the best you could hope for and more, within this price range. Motor is stong and powerful. So very easy to use and clean up is a breeze. I highly recommend this product. Dont hesitate!!

  • Just a nicely engineered kitchen tool on several levels
Color: Empire Red Style: 7 Cup Food Processor Pattern Name: Processor
My wife requested this for her birthday last month. She wanted a bright red one. It is stored in our pantry closet but looks beautiful when it is pulled out at least once a week. I'm not an engineer but I have an appreciation for the several thoughtful features that were designed into both (1) its appearance and ease of functionality. I feel that every small detail has been thought through on this KitchenAid food processor. I saw one review that gave me some serious pause about buying it because they said the motor was not very powerful. I just wonder what the reviewing customer was trying to slice or chop because there was nothing that has overly taxed the heavy weight motor in this (7-cup) processor. We made our own scalloped potatoes a couple of weeks ago and this thing slices through potatoes like a hot knife through butter without noticing any real strain on the motor and it is so much quieter than our past food processor which was like stepping up from a Hyundai/Kia to a Lincoln - this is definitely the Lincoln of food processors from a quality and design standpoint in my experience so far. ... show more

  • Works ok but is not as well made as the older model.

Works ok. Not up to the quality of the older KitchenAid it replaced.

  • COMPARED TO CUISINART 13 CUP/update below review
Color: Contour Silver Style: 13 Cup w/ Exact Slice Lever Pattern Name: Processor
I bought this Kitchenaid 13 cup food processor to replace my old Kitchenaid 4 cup. Nothing wrong with the 4 cup just needed a bigger bowl. The same day I also bought the Cuisinart 13 cup food processor. I wanted to compare the 2 because I make homemade peanut butter as a side hustle. I first tested the Cuisinart with 2lbs of raw skinned peanuts. I pushed the button on HIGH. I had to stop it to scrape the side of the bowl and to break up the big pieces at least 6 times. It wouldn't keep creaming. It never bogged down and stopped but it just kept spinning and not moving the nuts around. I put the same amount of peanuts in the Kitchenaid and started it also on high. I never had to stop the Kitchenaid until it was done making my creamy peanut butter. I didn't add any liquid at all to either bowl. I would, hands down, go with the Kitchenaid. The only reason I bought the Cuisinart to compare is because Costco had it on sale for 159.99 and the Kitchenaid on Amazon was 199.99. The Kitchenaid was also easier to clean and the parts just made more sense. It was put together better. It also didn't shake like the Cuisinart, which only has suction cups on the bottom to hold it steady. I hope this review helps. Update 3-13-23 ********************* I was using the KitchenAid 13 cup food processor and it just quit working. I was making homemade peanut butter and didn’t have a lot in the bowl. It came back on and then quit again and never started again. :/. So disappointed! I only used it for two days! Back to my 15 year old 4 cup bowl KitchenAid. I needed that extra room! ... show more

  • Powerful and space saving
Color: Contour Silver Style: 7 Cup Food Processor Pattern Name: Processor
Having been without a food processor for several months I could not find one that appealed to me. Right out of the box easily made slaw for eight adults. (Only grated 2 batches) I really like the size and the power cord storage. Oh the lid the latches vs the twist in place style, love it!
