Overall it’s good to grind meat but the meat needs to be cut very clean so it won’t block the grinder. Last a few pieces will stay in the grinder and have to pull out by hand and chop. I had this on discount so I probably will keep it.

If you’re like me, you probably hate paying more for ground beef and ground chicken. Typically (here in Ohio) ground chicken is $5-$6 a pound but chicken breasts are $2 a pound. It’s much more cost efficient to buy pieces of meat and grind them up! And it really isn’t that hard or time consuming like I thought it would be. I would say it takes about 10-15 minutes of extra time to do this, but there’s so many benefits!! I love that I know exactly what’s going into my ground meats (I don’t like what I see in pre-ground beef or chicken sometimes) so if I were you, I would take the extra 10-15 minutes and do it myself! ... show more
