I love this thing! I bought it for my partner because he hates it when I put the colander in the sink before I drain pasta into it because he thinks it’s unsanitary. I ended up using it when all my colenders were dirty and it was so easy to use and so convenient! Very easy to use, and great so far. I'm partially paralyzed in my one hand so this makes it easy to strain and me not dump everything in the sink while doing it. I'm definitely going to get my family one next year for Christmas.

It does a pretty good job once you get it on. I have arthritis in my hands and I have a hard time getting it to clip on. You have to be careful putting it on a hot pan as you can get burnt. It's is a good product it seems to work pretty well and it's very affordable. Maybe I will get better at putting it on I'm still learning how to do it . the clips seem to be real hard to open for me. Of course I'm still in the learning process I'm sure it will get easier as time goes on . LOL. Thanks. Update I just made a large pot of spaghetti and this strainer worked awesome I finally learned how to use it I love it. I've had this for over three years now, and I can honestly say it's one of the best purchases I've ever made. I only use it as a strainer, almost exclusively on pots. It's so cool that it will fit almost any size pot. I usually put it on prior to cooking, then into the dishwasher it goes after using. I don't remember if it is dishwasher safe, but that's the only way it's ever been cleaned. It makes it so much easier to stain pasta, veggies... any food needing to be stained. It's very sturdy. The clips are a bit challenging to clip to the hot pot, but anything weaker would likely not hold when straining. I live the product. So easy to use, I don't dirty up a large strainer to clean, and I don't risk losing part of my pasta to the sink when it misses the strainer. I would purchase again to give as a gift. ... show more

Only bought this so I could get free overnight shipping on something else I wanted. Was hoping that it would revolutionize how easy it can be to strain the water from my mac and cheese… Unfortunately, the strainer doesn’t fit well on small/medium pots. Instead, it ends up just creating a ramp for my pasta to slide down into the sink. Attaches to my medium/large pots just fine though. Haven’t made Mac and cheese in those pots… ... show more
