Large capacity with actual working strainer and bottom plate that it sets in, in case your husband is like mine and misses the large opening at the top when pouring the bacon grease out of the pan. The plate will atleast catch the mess.I've purchased 2 different grease savers from different brands.1 the interior enamel started peeling and flaking off into the grease and the other one I kept finding grease seeping out of the bottom. So far this one is great. No issues yet but I've not had it very long either, so fingers crossed. Very affordable, sturdily made!

The Stainless Steel Grease Container works well, and the fine mesh strainer does a good job of filtering bacon grease. It’s solidly made and feels durable. The only downside is that it’s smaller than the photos suggest, so just be aware of that. Overall, it’s a useful container for kitchen grease storage.

I had been using jars, old coffee cans and coffee mugs to hold my used grease in. They all broke due to the hot grease or mishandling, didn't match my kitchen decor or were too small with grease running all over and were messy and filthy visually and to the touch. I absolutely love this container. It is the size of a small tea kettle. It holds a lot of grease. I believe 7.5 cups worth. I like that it is made of a non destructible material to hold relatively warm grease, has a handle, a strainer, a lid with a top, a spout (perfect for pouring but it is not visible in this picture) and a nice plate to sit on top of. The strainer has small holes, so that not too much food particles will get into the grease. I highly recommend this product. With Amazon Prime it arrived in less than 24 hours. It was easy to put together. If you want to upgrade how you store your used grease. Please don't hesitate getting this item. I purchased black to match my kitchen decor.

I bought with hesitance because it doesn't look like it would hold much oil. I was pleasantly surprised that not only does it hold a ton of oil, it also comes with a plate for the bottom so you won't burn your countertop and the strainer is phenomenal!! I deep-fried some lumpia and was worried I couldn't reuse the oil in the future due to some flakes and pieces in the oil. Once I poured the oil through the strainer even the tiniest specks of flake were on the strainer and the oil was clean as can be. There are lips and handles so there no way for you to get burned or touch anything hot. Whoever designed it was definitely on the money. It is affordable, useful, and well-crafted. I would definitely recommend it!!
