I have not used this product for long enough to comment on longevity, so I will just say initially I am very happy with the material look and feel. It sounds like real steel, it is sturdy, it is not made to bang around going camping, but for home use it should resist most dings and it's not easy to scratch as I still have not done so. it's metal with a lid so cleaning is not harder than cleaning other metal containers with a lid and it's big enough to fit my XXL glove size hand in there. ... show more

Works perfectly, I absolutely love it. My only request, please make a MUCH bigger version. I need two of these to store the cooking oil I use it for. I love that I can pour hot oil straight from the stovetop into the strainer and it filters 99% of the fried bits in the oil. Does it do as good as a coffee filter? No. But it does a good enough job for most uses. ... show more
