Pros: 1. Ice is soft like Sonic ice. It’s chewable and not hard. So good for drinks but melts fast; overall my kids love it!! 2. Solid design. Intuitive layout. Only two buttons so very easy to use. 3. Makes ice fast 4. Small footprint fits in a small space on the counter in our kitchen. 5. Effortless setup and easy to use. Cons: not a lot but… 1. Real loud. 2. With use it needs to be refilled often, maybe once a day when my kids are around. Would be nice if the reservoir were larger. 3. The scoop holder is goofy and not very functional. This can surely be improved on in future models. Overall, good value and great soft ice. However, caution if you are concerned about it being loud. (Slightly less than a dishwasher, but still loud).

Makes ice. Works great. I recommend turning it off every night so you don’t get startled by the noise. It’s not that loud but it might take a bit use to in a very quiet home. It’s great size small and it makes ice very fast at a push of a button.

First, let me say, I'm a bit of an ice connoisseur. I know which restaurants have the best chewy ice. When I finally decided to buy my own ice machine it was because I was spending an unconscionable amount of money each year on takeout restaurant ice. This is my second ice machine. The first was a different brand and I returned it. The Kismile is much easier to use than other ice makers. This one can stay on and plugged in without going haywire. (It's a problem I had with the other brand.) At first, I didn't love the type of ice it made because I was used to the chewblets from Chick-filA. But now, I got used to this ice and I prefer it. The cubes are smaller and easier on my teeth. When it's making ice, it's pretty darn quiet. The ice retention is good as it doesn't melt much if you leave the cubes unused. What I like best is how easy it is to clean. Waaay easier than other machines. I bought the recommended de-scaling packets and they work great. The design is better too in the way you can take out the ice tray and easily fill the water tank. I've had this for two months and so far so good.

I have had 2 of the GE Profile Opal 2.0 nugget ice makers. Those units were very loud when running. However, where the ice would collect it was more insulated and kept the ices "shape" longer. The Kismile Nugget Ice Maker is much quieter, less expensive and makes good ice. Cons - where the ice come out of the Kismile isn't that great. The ice backs up and stops the machine from producing ice b/c it thinks it's full. Pic attached. Overall, for the price it's a good machine. I work from home so I can "smooth" out the ice periodically so it keeps running and producing ice.

I absolutely love this ice maker and the ice it makes!!! It holds and makes a lot of ice, it doesn't melt quickly and always has ice ready! It isn't too loud but we have it tucked away in our walk-in pantry. It is easy to set up, it cleans itself and is the perfect height to fit on our counter right under a shelf and still opens perfectly! I would highly recommend this and I've owned several Amazon ice makers! It's also very pretty in comparison to others I've had. Love this!!!

I am so happy with my purchase of this ice maker! It makes ice quickly and the ice is really good. It is a little bit loud, but honestly it's not any louder than a refrigerator is. It fits perfectly on my counter and makes enough ice to last me all day. It's perfect for one or two heavy ice users or four light to moderate ice users. I'm sure it would do well for small gatherings if kept full.

Outstanding nugget ice maker! I'm really enjoying the chewable nugget ice size to use in my sodas. As far as noise level, I find mine to be at a "humming" level, nothing that is annoying. Most electric appliances have some sort of "noise." I purchase gallon jugs of distilled water and keep one in the refrigerator at all times for ice making. Cold water will help your ice maker to start producing ice more quickly. I was going to use bottled water but found out bottled water contains minerals which will accumulate in the ice maker. I find cleaning it a breeze. I use just a LITTLE distilled white vinegar and fill the rest of remaining area in reservoir with room temperature distilled water. And run 2 more cycles of plain distilled water to remove any remaining vinegar taste. This is not a chore for me because I can leave the machine while it's in the cleaning cycle. I carefully researched all the nugget ice makers that Amazon had to offer (including reviews and the customer purchasing rating list on Amazon) and I found this one to be the one for me. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. :-) I highly recommend it from my experience.

This is absolutely my favorite purchase of the last year. I have a GE Opal, with side reservoir that I paid a LOT of money for. Perfect ice. Not so perfect to maintain— every time I turned around I was having to buy parts, cleaning lines, ugh. Just a pain. It is now stored on a low shelf. For the price of a part I got this Kismile IceMaker to try. I thought what the heck. I love it! Perfect ice, quickly made, and when bin is full I fill my 40 oz Stanley! Very low maintenance, ice tastes fantastic, good sized reservoir that is simple to fill. I can’t recommend this enough!
