You could say that I am a bit of a "fragrance-enthusiast"... So after smelling so many different scents over the years, I have become much more picky about what scents I buy these days. Having said that, I was honestly taken by surprise by how much I LOVE this fragrance!!! I fell in love with this scent ever since the first time I tested it out, and have been wearing (AND LOVING) this scent for the majority of this year... I have already gone through 1 and a half bottles, and I am always on the look out for a good deal on this particular scent. I have been keeping an eye on it, in hopes that the price would come down to a more reasonable number.. SO you can imagine my excitement when it showed up on Amazon for half the price of the local stores!! I was a bit concerned that it might not be the real deal... but I found it on sale "Sold by Amazon" and "shipped from Amazon"- so I figured that would be the safest way to go.. and I decided to give it a try! AND- it arrived about a week ago, with everything in great condition: the box, packaging, etc., all arrived intact and all sealed up, brand new. Fast shipping, too!! I was so thrilled to see that everything looked legit (packaging, bottle, etc). When I opened the cap on the bottle, I sprayed for the first time, and was able to confirm that it hadn't been sprayed before (plus everything was sealed up tight, from the manufacturer)- and those first few sprays were a wonderful confirmation!!-- That AMAZING SMELL IS LEGIT, INDEED!!!! Because I was already familiar with the scent, and I already had a bottle that I bought from the store, so I was able to compare the two bottles directly. They are, indeed, the same fragrance!!! Both the packaging/box/bottle, and the juice inside- I was able to confirm that they all match up. They are the real deal. I am so thrilled to finally get this in the large bottle and for a reasonable price!!!! This scent had me hooked like no other perfume has done before. I'm not sure what it is about the notes in this perfume, but for me and my preferences (I prefer lighter, sweet, fresh, juicy, fruity/florals)- it is like an ideal fragrance for me.. and it has quickly become a signature scent for me. I continue to reach for this fragrance, every day.. like I cannot get enough of it, and still have not tired of it or become bored with it like I have with some other perfumes in the past. Even in the heat of the summer, or recently, with the cool Autumn days, and cold evenings- it still smells divine! Whether it's hot, cold, dry, or humid... still smells wonderful. This has only ever happened for me with a couple of scents, ever... like in my entire life. So, i am praying and hoping that they never stop making this perfume.. because I will be a lifelong fan, so long as I am able to continue to get it!! The ONLY thing I can think of that might be a drawback for some people, is that this fragrance is on the lighter side, and so it may not last as long as some people might prefer. I tend to spray it onto my clothing, and that has helped it to last wayyyy longer. However, for me, personally, this isn't much of an issue, since I don't like overly strong smelling perfumes. I have found that many of the strong-smelling perfumes can become overwhelming/overpowering for me; or, like I am being suffocated by the perfume. So, even though it is lighter, and it can wear off after a while, I just add another spray or two, every so often, as needed. This, TO ME, is an acceptable trade off, and doesn't bother me that much. (I have other perfumes that are the same way, so it's not unusual to me) I have those little travel atomizers you can get (to decant your favorite perfume into the little travel bottle, so you can take it with you, or keep it in your purse, etc), so if I am out at an event and feel like I need to refresh my perfume, I can just use one of those, and keep that scent going strong all day long! (Also, being able to purchase this perfume at such a good price, makes it easier to spray away! lol! However, to be fair-- if you're paying $100 per bottle-- I can see why people would want it to last longer, tho!) So, to summarize: I agree that it doesn't last super long, unless you spray it on your clothes (it will definitely last a lot longer on clothes! I can even smell it on my clothes days later), but for me, I like lighter fragrances; plus, it is an acceptable trade-off for how great this stuff smells.. but that is just my personal opinion. *Side note: I thought I'd list a few other perfumes that are favorites of mine. These are: Gucci: Flora Gorgeous Gardenia EDP Juicy Couture: 'Viva La Juicy' EDP Ariana Grande: 'Sweet Like Candy' EDP Escada: 'Moon Sparkle' EDT Escada: 'Taj Sunset' EDT While I wouldn't say that Dylan Purple smells like any of the above listed fragrances, it does have a similar sort of profile- it is a lighter scent. sweet, fresh, fruity/floral... And, in my opinion, I think that Dylan Purple is actually far more interesting than any of the above perfumes. I have noticed different notes come through at times, and it's like there are many different facets to this fragrance.. making it much more interesting, in my opinion. Every facet has been beautiful and smells so good!! In comparing longevity, I would say it performs better than any of the perfumes listed above.. probably closest to the longevity of the Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia- but I think it actually lasts longer than that one as well. The sillage is pretty similar, but the longevity has been better, at least in my experience. ***To anybody who is considering purchasing a more expensive perfume: If you are able to, I highly recommend that you test it out in a local store FIRST, before you spend the money. That way, you can make sure you like/love it first.. You can get an idea of how it performs (sillage, longevity, etc..), how it responds to your body's chemistry, make sure you don't have any kind of allergic reaction or anything, and to get a feel for whether or not you think it's a good match for you. If you aren't able to test it out/smell it in-person first, then perhaps you can find a sample size, or a travel size before buying a whole bottle. I have gone this route many times, and have been SUPER thankful for sample sizes and travel sizes for this exact reason!! When you are considering a more expensive perfume, better to be careful and make certain you really love it first. If you find that you do love it enough to invest the money into owning the scent- then I recommend coming back here and ordering it from amazon- cuz my experience has been great so far! I recommend you give this perfume a try, especially if you are into lighter fragrances that are sweet, fruity, floral, fresh... I recommend that you try a tester out first ( you should be able to find testers at Sephora/Ulta/Belk, etc kinda stores) I am so thrilled that Amazon sells this, and for such a reasonable and competitive price! I would certainly buy again from Amazon(seller), and will continue to check back in the future, when the time comes for me to re-stock! I really hope that the price will improve over time, so that I can afford to restock more often. This is one gorgeous fragrance that I never want to run out of <3 I hope this was helpful, and that you are also able to find that scent of your dreams!! I know it can take a lot of testing and trying things out.. but there's nothing quite like it- when you fall in love with a fragrance!! I think everybody should have that one scent that makes them feel lovely <3 God Bless!!! PS- this is just an honest review from a girl who loves fragrance. there is no incentive involved, i just wanted to share my thoughts and hope it helps other people who might be considering this purchase. This is my 3rd bottle from this seller! My second bottle scared me because the first spray smelled awful. After spraying it a couple of times, the awful smell went away; and smelled like it was supposed to. Anyway, For me personally, it lasts all day on my skin! I get so many compliments! It’s my favorite fragrance, fresh, clean, sweet. I will continue to buy from this seller!

I love the smell of this perfume. The large bottle 3.4oz is the only way to go. Unlike other Versace perfumes this one is subtle and needs to be reapplied throughout the day. Smells clean and fresh. Not sweet. Try it you won’t be sorry. As a side note I tried the sampler from Amazon and there wasn’t enough in it to bother with.

We ALL know this stuff smells amazing, but my only compliant is the bottle I got her of this at Sephora held the smell longer than this bottle did. I am no expert, but I do know there are different values of perfume that hold smell longer than others. This one does not, BUT, it's the same amazing smell and cheaper on here.

Literally the best smelling perfume I’ve ever used. Quality is amazing same as the department store. When I tell you that I get more compliments when I wear this Dylan purple perfume than any other perfume I mean it. I work 12 hour days and this lasts right on through.
