I am very pleased with the overall quality of this product (Brushed-Nickel Fixture - 2-Pack). My installation is direct-wired so I did not use the included cords and covers. The wall/fixture cover plate easily conceals a standard nominal 2" x 4" old work or new work single-gang electrical outlet box. The provided mounting plate provides secure mounting to the outlet box and allows for adequate placement/orientation for leveling the fixture. (I did read some of the reviews that claimed that the wall/fixture cover plate did not fully-cover the outlet box and that the mounting plate did not align with the outlet box mounting screw holes, however, they may have used a different size outlet box other than a standard 2" x 4" nominal single-gang box.) If you use the outer-most circular mounting slots and place a standard #6-32 x 1" long wiring device machine mounting screw (same size screws that are provided with standard wiring devices such as receptacles/switches) in the outer slots, adjacent to the threaded studs provided for fixture cover plate mounting, that protrude from the mounting plate at the top and bottom of the plate - you will find that the screws will line-up perfectly with the single-gang box device/fixture mounting screw holes. If you are not familiar with basic residential electrical wiring/fixture installation then I suggest you consult with a friend/family member who is proficient along these lines or have the lighting fixtures professionally-installed. Also, you will need basic tools and a drill and correctly-sized drill bits for some applications - especially when mounting the lamps directly to a wall using the cords/plugs - so, yes the installation of these lamps does require some degree of mechanical/electrical basic installation/assembly prowess. As final notes, the shades and the shade mounting harps for the model/color fixture I ordered were of very good quality and the shade mounting stud at the top of the harp does provide for adjustment in leveling the shade by grasping the harp and using pliers to tilt the shade stud retainer as necessary. The 3-way switches provided on the units I received operate normally and I installed 40/60/100 Watt LED Soft White Lamp Bulbs. Lamps function very well and look great. Lamp is very attractive, works great. Easy to install, but.. The decorative nuts may not tighten. The threads don't stick out enough, the nuts are too deep. My install was to replace an existing lamp. I used the old nuts.

For the price, I didn't have high expectations but believe it our not...these chinese lamps weren't too bad. Easy to install and doesn't look terrible. I recommend putting a bit of WD40 in the swing arm joints even though the instructions say to move them back and forth before mounting because they are stiff even after moving them about a hundred times. And make sure you have light bulbs cause these don't come with any. ... show more

I'm a professional interior designer and I have ordered numerous high-end lamps and wall lamps for my clients, but for a smaller space in my home I thought I would give this product a try... and I am delighted with the quality and the look of these lamps. They are so much better than similar lamps that I have ordered that are at least 5 - 6 times more expensive. Additionally, one of the reasons to go with designer lamps is because of the excellent customer service that you receive. (You are paying a premium for it.) However, in terms of customer service this company is remarkable. I contacted them with an issue that I had with one of the lamp shades. (It wasn't obvious until the light was turned on, so their quality assurance department wouldn't have seen it.) Immediately the company representative reached out to me and then they kept in communication with me until the problem was solved. To tell the truth, I didn't expect this excellent customer service for the price of this lamp. I highly recommend these lamps and this company! ... show more

It's nice, I do like it other than the damaged lampshade. This had to be damaged before packaging because the box was in fine condition. So that is a quality control issue.
