Style: D4 DASH CAM WITH SD CARD
This is my second dash cam with the first being an e-prance d101 which lasted 5 years before the memory card slot stopped detecting sd cards. This one feels well built and looks more sleek than my first and easier to use with the touch screen. My prior one did not come with a rear camera but now that I have it I cannot go back to just a front camera. The install was easy but I could see how it could be more difficult if you are installing the rear camera on a nicer car since you may need to make modifications to mount it on the outside. Since I drive a beater, I am not worried about wedging the cable into gaps and drilling a hole in the trunk. There is the option to stick it on the inside but you will get glare and reflection. The one minor thing I dislike is the sound it makes when clicking through the different options on the screen. It is the same sound as if you are dialing a number on your phone. ... show more

The picture is perfect. Very clear at night also. Easy to install. Touchscreen works great. You can go on YouTube to find great videos on how to hide the wires also. Took me about 30-45 minutes to hide the wires. A couple negative things: 1) The app for it stinks, very hard to connect to WiFi and when you do, it just cuts out. To be honest, if I had known the app was no good, I probably wouldn’t have purchased this dash cam. That’s my fault tho for not reading all the reviews because I noticed that other reviewers had mentioned that. Anyway, since the app doesn’t work, you have to take the SD card out of it or unhook the dash cam to view the videos on your computer. 2) I recommend buying a rear dash cam mount because the way the mount is on this one, it’s impossible to mount it on the rear window because the camera hits the glass. I purchased one on Amazon for $16. EDIT: I did finally get it to connect to the WIFI, so the app does work now. I can view the videos on my phone now. It’s a little tricky to do, but it is possible. ... show more
