  • 3.0 out of 5 stars Work but not as described
Size: 4 Step Ladder
Comes all set up and out of the box use. It's decent but feels just a little shaky and would of hope more sturdier. Says 900 load but nice sticker saying max weight is 150 kg or around 330 lbs. Per step/3step 900 I guess. Folds up nice and not too heavy.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Good 3 step ladder
Size: 3 Step Ladder
The all black color looks good. The ladder is very sturdy and the top step being about 26 1/2 inches high allows reaching very high. Changing light bulbs with an 8 foot high ceiling can be done on the second step. A 10 foot ceiling would require a good reach from the third step. The frame of this ladder is mostly steel but the steps and hinge bracket are plastic. Folding the ladder is easy if you remember the trick. The back of the top step locks onto a steel crossbar. Pulling up the back of the top step causes the ladder to fold. I would prefer an all steel ladder, but this ladder appears to be well built and should last quite a while. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy and great height
Size: 4 Step Ladder
This folding ladder has four well spaced steps and is the perfect height for any home project. It feels sturdy and the step platforms are generous in size. It has a solid weight, but is still easy to maneuver. The design is sleek and it folds down completely flat making storage easy - both against a wall or slid under a bed. There are no directions and it took me a few minutes to figure out how to collapse the step ladder after opening. The top step has indentations on the bottom side that fit tightly onto a horizontal bar. That keeps the ladder solid after opening, but closing requires adequate strength to pull the mated step off the bar. I finally succeeded after a few whacks using a rubber headed mallet provided release. Other than that, this is a nicely designed and attractive step ladder. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Nice, sturdy ladder
Size: 4 Step Ladder
The KINGRACK 4 Step Folding, 4 Step Ladder is a great ladder that folds up flat. It has nice, big treads, so I feel very safe on it. At my age, it's about as high as I want to go, so four steps is plenty! I like that it is fully assembled. I took off one star because a few parts, including the treads, were plastic. On the other hand, that makes the ladder lighter to carry. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy, strong, and stable.
Size: 3 Step Ladder
My old kitchen ladder was sturdy enough for me, but it creaked and made cracking noises when my husband used it. At six feet and 225 lbs, he’s the runt in his family. This one is sturdy enough for anybody who comes to my house, and there are some big people included there. It’s right about the same size as every other three step ladder I’ve ever had (a good thing, since one of my cabinets is built for this purpose) but it’s a little heavier. I’m grateful for the extra weight because it means it’s safer. I don’t usually lock it into place by pushing the top step all the way down; I just step on it and it clicks down and locks itself. Unlocking it is just a yank upwards on the back of the top step. My kitchen with ten foot ceilings and cabinets all the way up requires me to use a step ladder often. I’m five feet, on a good day, and only with some stretching and upward wiggling. I’ve been known to stand on the very top of step ladders (where you’re totally not supposed to) when rummaging around in the upper upper cabinets. This has the most stability of any step ladder I’ve ever done that with— when you look down, you’re right smack dab in the middle of the four feet when you’ve got your foot in the middle of the bar. I love that this little ladder even accommodates my idiocy. Don’t try this if you’re not my size and not holding onto something! ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars What's not to like
Size: 3 Step Ladder
The media could not be loaded. I was super impressed with everything about this. Well, almost everything. Let me tell you about those things first and get them out of the way. First, shipping took a long time. I have no idea why or what took so long, and it may not have even been the companies fault. It is what it was though. Then, when it finally showed up, there was damage to the box. It looked as if the carboard wasn't heavy enough to prevent the top hinges from rubbing through the carboard. I was worried that there would be actual damage to the item. I saw the thank you sticker on the outside of the box, and thought for sure I would be contacting them. It turns out I was wrong. From the images, you can see there was no actual damage to the item where it had worn through the carboard. I was pleasantly surprised about that. I got it out and the thing is very utilitarian looking, but that's fine by me. The weight is nice and has a solid feel to it. It unfolds easily without being loose. It folds again well without too much effort. When I first opened it, I liked how smooth it was. Then I took a step on to it, and it 'snapped'. I was surprised and figured maybe I had damaged it. Turns out the top step has a groove on the side which snaps into the side brace for a solid non-moving engagement, adding that much more stability to the thing. I was certainly impressed. This step ladder holds my weight easily and well and I'm right at 270. The added height is right in the range I was hoping for and even being on the top step didn't feel awkward. This is a very nice ladder for those things just out of reach, but not needing a full size ladder. Highly recommend. ... show more
