It does exactly what it says it does. I had some white strands on the back of my head that were very hard to dye. I love that you just need about a quarter size of this shampoo to give your hair great color. Just wet your hair, rub it into your hair, do the rest of your wash-up routine then rinse it out after 10-15 minutes. Your hair will feel like it's dry while washing out, but when your hair is dry it feels so soft. You can use a conditioner after washing it out. I have had no issues using a conditioner afterward. I have not seen any of it coming off on my towel or clothes either which is great. It does not dye my scalp, however, I did notice that it lightly dyed my fingernails, so I would recommend either wearing gloves while applying or putting something on your nails while applying. All-in-all it is a wonderful way to give your hair a nice, natural-looking color.

I am saying good bye to permanent hair dye! This shampoo is amazing! It doesn’t have an odor like other hair dyes. Didn’t burn my scalp. In 25 min it covered all my stubborn gray hair and I love that it is made from natural ingredients. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!. Just be sure to use the gloves and cover your hair with the plastic that comes in the box so it doesn’t stain your skin, clothes or the area where you are going to do that. Thank you! 🙏🏼

I ordered the DARK BROWN. Nice color tone, it did cover my grays, and it gave my hair a nice shine. However, it has a bad smell and it starts burning after 5 minutes. I left it for 20 minutes to cover my grays and after rinse the burning went away.

I was a bit skeptical about even purchasing this product. I’m so glad that I did. It’s very easy to use. There is no bad smell. I’m a very dark skinned person with very stubborn, thick grey roots. Because of the way I wear my hair I’ve been in search of a “chemical “, ammonia free hair color. I was very pleasantly surprised that this shampoo fully covered my grey hair without and damage. I WILL BUY THIS PRODUCT AGAIN!

I used the Dark Brown before and it works GREAT, COMPLETE gray coverage if you leave 20 minutes or more. My husband used it and liked it, but it was too dark for him. So I order the brown. The box says not to use light brown for gray coverage, this box said brown. His gray turned into a LIGHT reddish! So immediately, he applied my Dark Brown and all was well. So, if you are looking for EASY gray coverage use the black or dark brown, it works!!! But if you have a lot of gray, and want coverage and a light color, now you know, try the Brown.

I have used this about three times to cover gray and I like it more each time I use it. At first it did not cover as much gray as I'd like but it was ok. I waited about 3 weeks or so and used it again...this time the coverage was much better. After the third time I got the coverage I was looking for. I like that it did not seem to cause any excessive dryness or stain my clothing or pillow case. Also it applies easily without a lot of messiness. My only issue is that I wish the color lasted longer however since it is semi-permanent and doesn't seem to harm my hair I can deal with the trade off.
