I ordered this because I have curly hair and I wanted to try wearing it naturally. My hair has always been kind of frizzy, scraggly and not great curls. This wasn’t a miracle for me, however, I’ve been using it in my hair EVERY day, whether I straighten it, or curl it, or whatever. It seems like it helps smooth my hair and maybe nourishes it a bit. I'm obsessed! I wish I could find this in my local beauty supply stores because if this company were to ever stop selling it I would be distraught. The smell is amazing, the fact that this product is NOT HEAVY NOR GREASY is really what keeps bringing me back. I love what it does for my natural curls as well as my human hair extensions. Keeps hair soft, moisturized, and looking beautiful all day without leaving you with that heavy residue feeling (iykyk). I've been natural all 26 years of my life and I have to say this is a quality product, I wish I could buy it in a larger size but honestly a little goes a long way, I use a lot less of this than other products. i got these because i had been using the cream for a while and i LOVE it. its smells like a lemon cake so yummy, the shampoo and conditioner have a different scent, it reminds me of sweet tarts or something, when i smelled them out of the bottle i didn’t like the scent but when i used them to wash my hair it was actually so nice. the shampoo makes my hair feel nice and clean and the conditioner is nice and slippery for my detangling. i have fine 2c/3a hair :) ... show more

My hair is bleached and dyed. I've tried my best to keep it in good condition--bleaching usually destroys my curl and makes my hair brittle, dry and crunchy. Between using oil-laden bleaching products and Olaplex no.0, I've retained my curl but my hair does tangle more than usual, probably because it did get dry still. I've been using a boar bristle brush to distribute my natural oils and it has helped (also to reduce the oiliness of my scalp), but I needed something more. I've been looking for a curl activator to give my curls some more life and found this one here on Amazon. So I decided to give it a try because of the great reviews. So, it really does smell like cake. Wow! I like that more than I thought I would. A little goes a long way. The results are exactly what I want. Soft, bouncy curls so it feels perfectly natural. There's no greasy feeling or residue, and I'm OCD so it wouldn't get past me if it had any. So I couldn't keep my hands out of my hair after blow drying. The first pic is immediately after drying. The second pic is 5 days later, with no extra products. I would say it's a little more wavy than usual at this point, more shiny, less dry and less tangled. I couldn't love this product more and will keep buying it as long as it works this well! (Or better. Is that even possible?) (My hair color is Arctic Fox Electric Paradise. It's UV reactive so it looks a bit different in color based on the light.) ... show more
