I picked up the Marc Anthony Grow Long Shampoo & Conditioner set mainly because of the hype around the biotin and “anti-breakage” claims—and honestly, it mostly lives up to it. First off, the scent is really nice. It’s clean and slightly sweet without being overpowering, and it actually lingers a bit after your hair dries. The shampoo lathers well, so you don’t need to use a ton, and the conditioner has a smooth, almost salon-quality feel when applying. After a couple weeks of use, I noticed my hair felt stronger and less brittle, especially at the ends. It doesn’t magically make your hair grow overnight, but it definitely helps with reducing breakage, which is key if you’re trying to grow it longer. My hair also looked a bit shinier and felt softer overall. That said, if you have very dry or heavily damaged hair, the conditioner might not be quite moisturizing enough on its own—you may still want to pair it with a deep conditioner occasionally. I have only used this product once and it is incredible! The shampoo is so wonderful, the lather is rich and my hair felt so clean and loved! The conditioner was perfect, my hair was so shiny and soft immediately and not weighted down from the product. This is by far the best shampoo and conditioner I have used in years. I just order some texture spray and hair spray. If they are half as good as the shampoos and conditioners, I will be thrilled!
