I have thin hair but I have a lot of it, similar to Asian hair but I am Hispanic. With the type of hair that I have, it starts looking greasy quicker than I would hope. This shampoo helped me to put more days in between wash days. And it's one of the only ones that have done that. It makes my hair super clean it doesn't leave any buildup on my scalp, it smells amazing. It's just an overall good formula. I love that acure is a cleaner brand with natural ingredients. This shampoo smells great, and truly removes buildup. I use it once every 4 to 6 washes and use my normal shampoo in between. My 20-year old son insists on always having it and he uses it on the same rotation (every 4-6 washes). You can feel the difference in how clean your hair is with this shampoo, and it clarifies without drying out your hair.

I have very fine, thin hair that tends to get greasy easily, but also is susceptible to breakage and shedding. I got this to use once a week to get the heaviness out of my hair that conditioner leaves (it's a balancing act between my hair being too dry and being too greasy) and it works great for that. There's no real bubbling, but that doesn't mean it doesn't work. It definitely gets my hair clean, but I can't use it more than once or twice a week without it drying my hair out. But this is a clarifying shampoo. Even if it says its gentle enough for everyday use, I knew it wouldn't be for my hair. Even regular shampoo can be a bit much if I wash my hair every day. Performance-wise, it's great, but I have to take a star off for the smell. To be clear, this is a personal preference issue. I hate the smell of lemongrass and this is a very lemongrass-smelling shampoo. It's good for de-greasing your hair, so it's a helpful ingredient, but I don't look forward to using it the way I would if it had a more appealing fragrance. The squeeze bottle is nice and preferable, for me, to the hard flip top bottles it used to come in. The one nice thing about the hard plastic bottles is that they were rectangular and narrow, making them easy to set in the shower side-by-side (if you use the matching conditioner as well, which I used to). The squeeze bottle is fine, it's just easier to knock over and harder to arrange neatly. It is expensive shampoo for as little as you get, but I use it infrequently enough and in small enough amounts that it's not cost-prohibitive to use.

Sulfate free - does not remove color from color treated hair. I use this AURE Clarifying Shampoo about 2 or 3 times a month, then I use my shampoo, Bumble and Bumble for color treated hair, and conditioner. ACURE is a wonderful Clarifying Shampoo, my scalp no longer is itchy, my hair is so clean healthy and shiny, buy ACURE it really does remove any build up that your scalp and hair are retaining, ACURE is a great product, well worth it, buy and enjoy!

This shampoo is great! I had some buildup on my scalp For what ever reason and this solved the problem. I don’t need to use it everyday but it stays in my shower for occasional use. It smells great, lathers well and makes my head feel nice.

I like many things about this shampoo: scent, texture, lathers nicely, quality ingredients, fair price. However, I use a silicon-based smoother on my wiry hair about twice a week. It's important to use a clarifier to totally remove the product so that the silicon doesn't damage my hair. I've been using this product for about three months, because I had great hopes for it. However, it doesn't seem to actually be removing the product from my hair and my hair is becoming brittle. I've read other reviews of this shampoo which say that the shampoo itself can have a drying effect on hair. So, whether it's the shampoo causing the problems or the shampoo not actually clarifying/removing product, I won't use it any longer.

I have tried multiple “clean” shampoos and have not been satisfied with any until I tried this one. It lathers well, rinses clean, smells great, and after using it for 6 months my hairdresser said my hair looks and feels healthy. I find a go through 2 containers of shampoo to 1 container of conditioner. I really like this company, and I like that they produce an affordable clean product. Highly recommend.

One of my favorite companies and there products are pretty darn good. Love the scent but i have to say the conditioner does nothing for me. My hair isn't any softer so i will skip this product on the next order and just order 2 shampoos instead.
